Have You Repented?
"For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth
no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation,
which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under
two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy,
who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant,
wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?"
(Hebrews 10:26-29).
"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he
that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord,
have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done
many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me,
ye that work iniquity" (Matthew 7:21-23).
"But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have
preached to others, I myself should be a castaway" (1 Corinthians 9:27).
"For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord
and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is
worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the
way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment
delivered unto them" (2 Peter 2:20-21).
"Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance,
emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings,
and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they
which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God" (Galatians 5:19-21).
