Prayers

"After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done in earth,
as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us
our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and
the glory, for ever. Amen" (Matthew 6:9-13).

"Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and
watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all
saints" (Ephesians 6:18).

"Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces. For my
brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee"
(Psalm 122:6-8); "And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he
make Jerusalem a praise in the earth" (Isaiah 62:7).

"I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers,
intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings,
and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable
life in all godliness and honesty" (1 Timothy 2:1-2).

"The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore
the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his
harvest" (Luke 10:2).

"Pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things
that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man" (Luke 21:36).

"Pray ye that your flight be not in the winter" (Matthew 24:20).

"Let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret"
(1 Corinthians 14:13).

ACTS

I have found the following to be a helpful reminder of all that we may
include in our prayers:

Adoration -- Praise God for everything we can think of.
Confession -- Confess to God everything we can think of.
Thanksgiving -- Thank God for everything we can think of.
Supplication -- Ask for God's help for everything we can think of.

"O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD
our maker" (Psalm 95:6).

"And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the
earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I
saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that
sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever"
(Revelation 5:13).

I pray that you would help me and cause me to love you in deed
and in action, in obedience and in faithfulness, and not just in thought
and word. I pray thou you would fill me with great love for you and
for others, wholly by your mercy and your grace, I pray in the name
of Jesus Christ, Amen and Amen.

I renounce and reject Satan, and all of his works and all of his ways.
I renounce and reject all unclean spirits, and all of their works
and all of their ways. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Amen.

I confess and embrace our Father in heaven, God most high, and the
Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, the Word of God,
and the Holy Spirit, one God, one Spirit, perfect, holy, infinite,
forever and ever. All glory, honor, power, dominion, majesty, and
blessedness, be unto the Father, and to the Son of God, Jesus Christ,

Confession

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive
us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).

"And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves
that they were righteous, and despised others: Two men went up into
the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.
The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee,
that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers,
or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week, I give tithes
of all that I possess. And the publican, standing afar off, would
not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast,
saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. I tell you, this man went
down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that
exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall
be exalted" (Luke 18:9-14).

"If thou hast done foolishly in lifting up thyself, or if thou hast
thought evil, lay thine hand upon thy mouth" (Proverbs 30:32).

Our Father in heaven, Lord Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit, I plead that you
would have mercy upon me, a sinner. I plead that you would save my soul,
wholly by your mercy and your grace. I plead that you would not cast me
down into Hades and to the creatures there for my sins. I plead that you
would not cast me into the outer darkness for my wickedness and laziness.
I plead that you would not cast me into the lake of fire for my iniquity. But
I pray that you would forgive me for all of these, and for every sin of thought,
word, and deed, of omission and commission, and every secret and
presumptuous sin. I plead that you would deliver me from all of these,
cleanse me from them, keep me from them, I plead that I would not hear
those terrible words "Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire,
prepared for the devil and his angels" (Matthew 25:41), and "I never knew
you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity" (Matthew 7:23). I plead that you
would bless me and know me, and make me your servant, and fill me with your
goodness and your faithfulness, so that instead I might hear those words "Well
done, thou good and faithful servant," wholly by your mercy and your grace.
I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

I pray that you would forgive me for all of my pride, arrogance,
self-importance, self-righteousness, judgment of others, hypocrisy,
cockiness, complacency, smirking mouth, froward mouth, rebellion,
stubbornness, vanity, mockery of others, rudeness, disrespect,
thinking myself better than others, looking down on others, and
every other pride-related sin. Please deliver me from all of these,
cleanse me from them, cleanse my mind, my heart, my spirit, my body,
my clothing, my lodging and all of its contents from them, and keep me
from them, and from every disaster, destruction, and falling, and replace
them with great meekness, humility, and lowliness of heart before you,
and before all people continually, and with great and proper and holy
fear and trembling, obedience and reverence before you continually.

I pray that you would forgive me for every sexual sin, of thought and deed.
Please deliver me from them, cleanse me from them, keep me from them,
and replace them with sexual purity and holiness before you continually.

I pray that you would forgive me for all of my covetousness, and all of my
desire for and attachment to and idolatry of the things of this world and
of this life. I pray that you would deliver me from every idolatry and
every wrong attachment and replace these with worship of you only, and
service to you only, and with detachment from all things, and attachment
to you only, and with desire for you only, your person, your presence,
and with desire for your righteousness.

I pray that you would forgive me for my lack of patience, and replace it
with great patience. I pray that you would forgive me for all of my anger,
hatred, bitterness, resentment, envy, lust, wrath, rage, and unforgiveness,
and every other wrong emotion toward all people. I pray that you would
deliver me from these, cleanse me from them, keep me from them, and replace
them with right emotions toward all people continually, with the same love,
mercy, grace, and forgiveness that you show me continually. I forgive
everyone for everything and pray for your blessings on everyone. I pray
that you would bring to mind at this time all those people who I might
still harbor bitterness or resentment or unforgiveness toward, that I might
confess these to you and be delivered from them and forgive these people
and bless them at this time.

I pray that you would bring to mind at this time all those people who
I need to apologize to and ask forgiveness from for any way that I hurt
them, and all those who I need to make restitution to for any way that
I stole from them or harmed them or their property. I pray that you would
show me how I should speak with them, and ask forgiveness from them, and
make restitution to them, and I pray that you would give me grace with
them so that they might accept my apology and forgive me and receive my
restitution, so that there might be peace between us.

I pray that you would forgive me for all of my idleness. Please deliver me
from it and replace it with diligence to do all that you want me to do. I
pray that you would forgive me for my lack of prayer, praise, worship, and
service. I pray you would give me a great desire for these, and keep me in
these. I pray that you would forgive me for not reading your word. I pray
that you would draw me very strongly to your word, and give me perfect
understanding of it, perfect remembrance of it, and perfect obedience
to it.

I pray that you would forgive me for all of my doubt, fear of man, fear
of suffering, fear of the enemy, fear of loss. I pray that you would
deliver me from all of these, keep me from them, and replace them with
great faith and courage, and with fear of you only. I pray that you would
forgive me for all of my anxiety. I pray that you would deliver me from it,
keep me from it, and replace it prayer to you about all matters, and fill me
with great peace, and great trust in you. I pray that you would forgive me
for all of my ingratitude, whining, moaning, groaning, complaining. I pray
that you would deliver me from these, keep me from these, and replace
them with continual thanksgiving, and quietness before you.

I pray that you would forgive me for doing my own will. I lift up my will
into your hands 100%, and I leave it there, and I pray not my will, but
your will be done in all matters.

I pray that you would forgive me for my lack of grief and sorrow over my
own sins and over the sins of this world. I pray that you would fill me
with great grief and sorrow over these.

I pray that you would bring to mind all of my other sins at this time, so
that I might confess them before you. I pray that you would forgive me for
[all of the other sins the Lord brings to mind]. I pray in Jesus' name, Amen.

Thanksgiving

"Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving" (Colossians 4:2).

"In every thing give thanks" (1 Thessalonians 5:18).

Our Father in heaven, Lord Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit, I thank you for
your tremendous mercy and grace, patience and faithfulness, and provision
that you show me continually, and have shown me continually, from the
moment of my conception until this moment.

I thank you, Jesus Christ, for suffering and dying for my sins.
I thank you for being beaten, whipped, mocked, cursed, crucified,
pierced, killed and buried for my sins. I thank you for going through
all of that suffering and death for me. May I live for you because
you suffered and died for me. I pray that I might be able to serve
you forever and thank you forever for all that you did for me, and
for all that you have done for me and do for me continually.

I thank you, Jesus Christ, for rising from the dead on the third day,
and saving my soul and delivering my soul from hell, and giving me
your perfect holy blood, Spirit, presence, name, word, work, angels,
guidance, protection, and all of the gifts of your Holy Spirit, and all
of your other spiritual blessings, mercies, graces, and provisions.

I thank you, our Father in heaven, Lord Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit,
for letting me see the temporary use of all of your water, food,
clothing, shelter, sleep, health, work, and the use of your money,
stores, transportation, and all of your other physical blessings,
mercies, graces, and provisions. Indeed I thank you for all things,
large and small, spiritual and physical, within and without, from the
moment of my conception up until this moment, and for all the rest
of my life. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Supplication

"Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit,
and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication
for all saints" (Ephesians 6:18).

"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication
with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep
your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7).

"Ye have not, because ye ask not" (James 4:2).

Our Father in heaven, Lord Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit, I lift up my
will into your hands 100%, and leave it there, and pray not my will, but
your will be done in all things continually. I lift up my heart into your
hands 100%, and leave it there, and pray not my heart, but your heart.
I lift up my spirit into your hands 100%, and leave it there, and pray not
my spirit, but your Spirit. I lift up my mind into your hands 100%, and
leave it there, and pray not my mind, but your mind. I lift up my body into
your hands 100%, from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet and to
the tips of my fingers, and I leave it in your hands, and pray not my
body, but your body. I pray that I would know, desire, and do your will
in all things, large and small, spiritual and physical, within and without,
even today, tonight, and in the coming week. I pray that I would know how
I might serve you. I pray for your continual counsel and instruction
regarding all matters. I pray that you would urge me very strongly to do
that which you do want me to do, and warn me very strongly against doing
that which you don't want me to do. I pray that I would know when to do
things and when not to do things, how to do things and how not to do things.

Our Father in heaven, Lord Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit,
I pray for your peace here and your will to be done here.
I pray that you would establish your throne, dominion, power,
principality, and ruler over this place, and over your people here.
I pray that you would cast down every throne, dominion, power,
principality, and ruler of the enemy off of this place and
off of your people here, to your great victory, glory, and pleasure,
to the great glory of your word, and to the great blessing of your
people here. I pray that you would bring all of the right people into this
place, and take all of the wrong people out. I pray that you would send
forth your angels into this place, and into the air above this place,
and into the earth beneath this place, that you would take total control
here and that your will might be done here regarding all things, even
at this time, and today, tonight, and in the coming week. I pray in
Jesus' name. Amen.

Our Father in heaven, Lord Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit,
I pray for all of your saints, your people, may I be counted
among them wholly by your mercy and grace.
I pray for [the names of all the people the Lord brings to mind].
I pray that you would save all of us, bless us, bring forward
your purpose for us, and deliver us from all evil.
I pray that you would bring all of the right people
into our lives, and take out all of the wrong ones.
I pray that you would kindle in our minds, hearts, spirits,
bodies, imaginations, tongues, wills, hands, and feet,
every good thing, righteous thing, true thing, and cast
dead in us every evil thing, harmful thing, wicked thing.
I pray that we would all know, desire, and do your will
in all things large and small, spiritual and physical,
within and without, even today, tonight, and in the coming week.
I pray that we would all know how we might serve you.

I pray that you would fill us, cover us, and surround us, with the
blood of Jesus Christ, and your Holy Spirit, and your word,
your name, and your holy angels, in our minds, hearts, spirits, bodies,
imaginations, tongues, wills, hands, and feet, that we might be
transformed into new creatures, without sin before you, and so that
we might be delivered from every lust, temptation, and sin.
I pray that in this way you would also deliver us and keep us
from Satan, and from every unclean spirit, and from every harmful
person, thieving person, violent person. I pray that in this
way you would also deliver us and keep us from every curse, spell,
witchcraft, divination, numerology, superstition, sorcery, voodoo,
incantation, magic, charm, enchantment, and from every anger, hatred,
unforgiveness, bitterness, resentment, envy, jealousy, lust, wrath, rage,
mockery, false accusation, judgment of man, and prayer that would be
directed against us. I pray that in this way you would also deliver us
and keep us from every accident, injury, puncture, laceration, burn,
wound, sickness, cancer, trouble, harm, damage, loss, and every
harmful germ, bacteria, virus, rickettsia, fungus, rotifer, amoeba, and
every biting ant, spider, mosquito, dog, and every other biting insect
and animal, and other evil, harmful, and hateful thing, large and small,
spiritual and physical, within and without, even at this time, and even
today, tonight, and in the coming week, and for the rest of our lives.
I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

I pray for this [house or apartment or room] that you would fill it,
cover it, and surround it, with the blood of Jesus Christ, and your Holy
Spirit, and your word, your name, and your holy angels, and that in this
way you would deliver it and keep it and every part of it and all of its
contents from every kind of damage, breakage, vandalism, graffiti, prank,
breaking and entering, theft, fire, flood, and other evil, harmful, and hateful
thing, large and small, spiritual and physical, within and without, even at this
time, and even today, tonight, and in the coming week, and for as long as we
are living in this [house or apartment or room]. I pray in the name of Jesus
Christ, Amen.

I pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Maranatha, come, Lord Jesus Christ, and
rule upon this earth. I pray that you would establish and make Jerusalem a
praise in the earth. "They shall prosper that love thee. Peace be within thy
walls, and prosperity within thy palaces. For my brethren and companions'
sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee" (Psalm 122:6-8). I pray indeed
for peace throughout the city of Jerusalem and throughout the land of Israel.
I pray hat you would deliver them from all terrorism, even today and tonight,
and in the coming week.

I pray that you would sow great peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians.
I pray that you would completely break up every terrorist organization, especially
[listing terrorist organizations], and save the people in them, so that your people
and the entire earth might be delivered from all terrorism.

I pray that you would sow great peace between [listing the leaders and
nations which are currently at war or which could go to war] and between
[listing the leaders of the opposing factions within the nations that are
currently suffering under civil war] so that there would be no war between
them. I pray that you would give all of these leaders wise and righteous
decisions so that they might know how they can resolve their differences
without warfare, so that there might be peace within all nations, and
peace between all nations, so that there might be peace in the earth.

I pray for all those in authority, that you would give them wise and
righteous decisions, even today, tonight, and in the coming week, that we
might live quiet and peaceable lives in all godliness and honesty.

I pray for the gift of the interpretation of tongues.

I pray, as you are Lord of the harvest, that you would send forth
laborers into your harvest. I pray especially that you would send
forth laborers into your harvest in [the country or countries the
Lord brings to mind], and that by them, Father, by your preachers and
publishers of your word and gospel, you would draw many people there
unto your Son Jesus Christ, to their salvation and blessing, and to
your glory and pleasure.

I pray that our flight would not be in winter or on a Sabbath.
I pray that you would prepare a place for us in the wilderness or
in the mountains to which we might flee when we see the abomination
of desolation. I pray that if you want us to be involved in your
preparation of such a place that you would give us the money, time,
and wisdom to know where to go and what to do, and the grace to be
able to get it done in time. And if you don�t want us involved in this,
I pray that you would give us peace about that.

I pray that we might be counted worthy to escape the coming tribulation,
and the beginning of sorrows, that we might stand before the Son of Man;
I pray that we might be counted worthy wholly by the worthiness of Christ
himself within us, apart from whom we have no worthiness at all, but only
defilement.

I pray that you would prepare all of us for the coming tribulation, that
you would prepare us spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically.
I pray that you would show us how to prepare.

I pray that you would reveal to us all the truth of what must come.

I pray that in the coming tribulation and beginning of sorrows you would
deliver us and keep us from all hunger, thirst, cold, nakedness, peril, sword,
and all other suffering, and from all persecution, torture, the mark of the beast,
and apostasy.

I pray for your saints, your people (may I be counted among them wholly
by your mercy and your grace), that you would draw all of us very strongly
to your word, to prayer unto you, to your worship, your service, and give us
perfect understanding of your word, remembrance of it, and obedience to it.

I pray that you would deliver us from every deception from Satan, from
unclean spirits, from the world, from people, and from our own selves.
I pray that you would bring us all into and keep us all in your truth

I pray that you would forgive us for and deliver us from every false gospel,
false doctrine, false eschatology, false prophecy, false preaching, false teaching,
false intelligence, and from every false hope of a pre-trib rapture, mid-trib rapture,
pre-wrath rapture, or miraculous protection, and bring all of us all into and keep
all of us in your true gospel, true doctrine, true eschatology, true prophecy, true
preaching , true teaching, true intelligence, and in your true hope of your second
coming and eternal life.

I pray that you would deliver us from and keep us from every false apostle, false
prophet, false evangelist, false pastor, false teacher, false saint, false church, and
and bring all of us into contact with and keep all of us in contact with all of those
true apostles, true prophets, true evangelists, true pastors, true teachers, true saints,
and true churches that you want us to be in contact with.

I pray that you would deliver all of your people from and keep them from poverty
and financial insufficiency and bring all of your people into and keep them in financial
sufficiency. I pray that you would deliver all of your people from every wrong ministry
and wrong work with the hands, and bring all of your people into the right ministry
that you want them to do and any right work with the hands that you want them to do.

I pray that you would deliver all of your people from hunger, thirst, famine, drought,
plague, harmful insects and animals, car accidents, sickness, surgery, warfare, persecution,
torture, and all other suffering. I pray that you would show me how you want me to
contribute toward the lessening of the suffering of your people. I acknowledge that every
penny is yours, every atom of this vessel is yours, every nanosecond of time is yours.
I pray for perfect stewardship of these, that I would know how you want them spent.

I pray that you would cast dead in our hearts and deliver us from and keep us from all
evil entertainments on television, on the radio, at the movies, and on the internet.

I pray that you would deliver your people from practicing any form of sinfulness.

I pray that you would bring us to every source of information that you
want us to come to: every web page, internet news posting, Usenet posting,
message board posting, discussion board posting, T.V. show, radio show,
newspaper article, magazine article, book, movie, and person, that we might
obtain all of the facts, all of the information that we need for these days, for
the coming days, for the beginning of sorrows, and for the tribulation, that
we might endure unto the end with all knowledge, wisdom, counsel, and
understanding, through your word and your Spirit. I pray that you would
grant us patience and faith and courage, that we might endure unto the end
and be saved.

I pray that you would deliver the west coast of North America from
disastrous earthquakes, from Alaska to Panama. I pray especially that
you would deliver California, San Francisco and Los Angeles, from "the
Big One"; I pray that it would never come. I pray that you would cause
there to be many small Richter-5 earthquakes that would continually and
completely release all of the tensions in the earth without any harm or
damage to anyone or anything. I pray that you would deliver the entire
earth from disastrous earthquakes. I pray that you would also deliver the
west coast from any huge tsunami from a comet or meteor strike in the
Pacific Ocean -- I pray that this would never happen. But I pray that if
your people need to get out of there that you would lay that on their
heart so that they would leave. But I pray that they would never have to
leave. I pray that you would deliver the entire earth from disastrous
tsunamis.

I pray for the earth that you would deliver it from any catastrophic
volcanic eruptions; I pray especially that you would keep Mount Shasta and
Mammoth Mountain and the Yellowstone volcanic caldera from exploding.
I pray that you would deliver the east coast of the U.S. and Florida and
the Caribbean from any catastrophic hurricanes, and indeed deliver all of
the earth from catastrophic hurricanes, cyclones, and typhoons. I pray that
you would deliver the Midwest of the U.S. from catastrophic flooding, and
indeed deliver all of the earth from catastrophic floods, fires, famines,
droughts, plagues, locust swarms, freezes, blizzards, tornados, mudslides,
landslides, avalanches, and every other disaster and catastrophe. I pray
that you would deliver the earth from any catastrophic comet or meteor
strikes; I pray that any comets or meteors would burn up in the atmosphere,
or break up into little pieces that would cause no harm, or I pray that they
would bounce off the atmosphere, or miss the earth completely and pass by
without any harm. I pray that you would deliver the moon and the earth from
any Planet X or Nibiru-type situation that would affect the moon's orbit
around the earth or the earth's orbit around the sun. I pray that no such
planet would ever come near the moon or the earth. I pray that you would
deliver the core of the earth and the mantle and crust of the earth from
any abnormality or problem; I pray that everything would be normal within
the earth. I pray that you would deliver the earth from any catastrophic
pole shift, or any catastrophic alien invasion or visitation, or demonic
infestation.

I pray that you would deliver the earth from abortion, and from the blood
of abortion. I pray that you would especially deliver all of your people,
born and unborn, from abortion. I pray indeed, Almighty God, that you
would deliver the earth from abortion, and from the blood of abortion.

I pray that you would deliver the earth from nuclear warfare, biological
warfare, and chemical warfare.

I pray that you would deliver the earth from torture, so that no one would
be tortured. I pray that you would deliver your people and all people from
torture. I pray indeed, Almighty God, that you would deliver the earth
from all torture.

I pray that you would deliver the earth from pollution and destruction
from pollution. I pray that you would show me how I can not contribute to
the pollution of the earth. I pray indeed, Almighty God, that you would
deliver the earth from pollution and destruction from pollution,

I pray that you would deliver the earth from every disaster, destruction,
and evil, that you would hold this little earth in your loving hands and
greatly bless it with your protection and your peace and your blessing.

I pray that you would bring to mind all of the other matters that I should
pray about at this time, and all of the other people who I should pray for
at this time. I pray about [all of the other matters and people the Lord
brings to mind]. I pray in Jesus' name, Amen.
