| How I plan to reach out to Mothers with PPD... | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

| I want to reach out to mothers who may be suffering with Baby Blues, Post Partum Depression, or Post Partum Pychosis. To give them power through knowlegde. Knowledge about the signs and symptoms and the knowledge hat they are not alone. To give them the knowledge that there is help out there for them and that their is hope for the future. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| MY MISSION: | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| First of all I am creating this website. Through it I hope to reach moms all over and provide them with resources, advice, and skills to make it through this transition. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| PROJECT #1: | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I would like to create a booklet that health care providers can send home with their patients before they ever even have their baies so that the moms can hopefully feel more prepared. This booklet would contain a wealth of information and resources they could use. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| PROJECT #2: | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| As we hold hands with one another we give eachother the strength to carry on. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I would also like to create a packet that new moms can get a hold of to help start a support group in their area. It could be in a hospital setting with a health care professional, in their homes with a few neighbors, online with e-mail friends, or something they can even go through on their own if they have to. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| PROJECT #3: | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| If time and finances permit, I would also like to branch out and produce some Public Service Announcements to bring more awareness to Post Partum Depression and reach out to mothers and encourage them to seek help if they need. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
