After seeing the movie I was encouraged to read more about the life of the notorious Mongolian leader Genghis Khan, and I was shocked by what I found. The movie is a historic mess. It misrepresents a lot of characters like Jamuga who was actually a friend of Khan not a foe until Khan decided to let go of his friendship. The movie also glorifies Genghis Khan too much, it is true, he was an extremely strong leader but he was a murderer, he killed his brother when he was thirteen years old. I really don't understand the point of view behind making such a brutal awful murderer seem like a hero.
