| PERSONAL NOTE: | |||||||||||||||||
| I am one of those people who never liked to read. All through my school years I cheated on book reports, used those popular Cliff Notes, or just simply took an F and went on. I really had no interest in reading at all. But all it took was that one interest in finding out what the DaVinci Code hype was all about (before the movie) to get it started. Since I have started reading in December 2005, I very rarely watch any TV and I really have no desire to anymore. I also found myself staying away from this computer screen more and more. I found books to be a much greater source of entertainment. With books I seem to actually go places I've never been, be with the characters, know them personally, be involved in the events taking place, witness amazing things, and live and become part of the story. If you're not a reader, I urge you to just try it. Just one book. Your TV will still be there when you're done. Find a book that suits your interest and get lost in it. | |||||||||||||||||
