Oh Lord I Pray
Oh Lord, My heart cries out to you.
No, I do not need, or want for  anything.
You've supplied every need of my flesh.
Even greater, you tend  to my soul.

Your mercy is so endless and passionate.
My heart yearns  for nothing.
While on earth, I will live in your will.
For this is but the  least that I can do.

Your love is so precious, and so free.
For this,  there are not enough partakers.
For who would not choose this gift of  love.
In hopes of finding his own reward or glory.

Please close their  eyes Lord.
Let them look with their hearts and see you.
That they will see  a God that is so great.
He died to deliver them from their sins.

Oh  Lord, you are an awesome God.
Oh my beautiful, beautiful Lord.
Thank you  for revealing yourself to me.
That I might bask in your awesome  glow.
Open Your Eyes
Everyone come stand around for what I have to say.
Although it will make some angry, it can't wait another day.

Look around at what we've made, it's so glorious to the eye.
Now try looking with your heart. It makes me want to cry.

We've got children at home waiting.
They're hoping Mom and Dad will show,
but a business meeting, one last report, the family's got to go.

With phrases like "whatever" rountinely
spoken by our teens.
Why do we stay so self absorbed, justifying all the means.

Our children need us more today, than they
will ever need us again.
Just like we needed Jesus Christ to pay the ultimate for our sins.

Fame and fortune, the American dream, houses boats
and other things.
Could this be our purpose, or so it seems,
for all of Jesus's suffering.

Please I beg of all of you, to reconsider
the life you choose.
For when it comes down to God and you.
Is there a chance you just might lose?
Salvation
I ask you Lord, "What is salvation?"
Is it something that I do or say?
Is it living a Christian life?
Or a particular way that I pray?

Is it as simple as repenting my sins?
And believing that Christ is your son?
Is it abiding by all of your commandments?
In hopes that your will should be done?

If it's just that easy, I ask you Lord.
Where do I even begin?
How can I find the courage,
To just walk away from my sins?

I'll pray dear Lord, I'll pray everyday,
With faith that you'll hear my plea.
And that you'll come into my heart.
And my soul, you will set free.

Thank you Lord for taking the time,
To hear these words of prayer.
For heaven will be my glory,
When you take my soul from here
A Boys Prayer
Lord, Why did you take my mommy to be with
you in heaven.
I needed her here on earth, for tomorrow I'm
turning seven.

I miss the way she sang to me, on nights
when it would storm.
Or on a really cold winter evening, She'd
always keep me warm.

She always made my meals, the kind that I liked to eat.
She'd give me my daily bath, and made me
wash my feet.

I hope you're taking good care of her, for I
know she'd do the same.
And tell her that I love her, and my
seventh birthday came.
