| Hello from the land of sea and sun Here in the southern hemisphere we spend our Christmas season during the summer. Our hot summer days are spent enjoying the wonderful outdoor life, days sunbathing, swimming , and eating food cooked on the Bar-B-Q,plus drinking long cool beers..(everyone should try it at least once in their lifetime)*:) |
| Santa still arrives for the girls and boys , but , he changes into his cool summer geer before he arrives ..... He`s even been known to give out toys to the children wearing his swimming costume ...... |

| Christmas fare....This is usually fresh seafood. Crayfish,Prawns,Shrimp,and a variety of Fish..Hot meat, Steak,sausages,etc as well as Turkey and Pork may be cooked on the backyard BarB-Q...this along with lots of fresh salads and fruit. Desserts , are usually cold..Pavlova,icecream fruitsalad. We do still enjoy Christmas fruit cake, Plum pudding , and fruit mince pies . Our favourite Beers,and wines help the day to be most enjoyable as well |
