Super Smash Bros. Review
A look at the fun, multi-player Nintendo fighting game!
Here is my opinion on Super Smash Bros., one of the greatest Nintendo 3D-played-like-2D fighting games ever!

Stats:
Name: Super Smash Bros.
Genre: Fighting
Console: Nintendo 64
ERSB Rating: E (for everyone)
Players: 1-4
Developer: Nintendo/HAL Laboratories.
Release date: April 26, 2000

Graphics: 9.8
The great Nintendo characters were portrayed pretty well, and so were their attacks. Seeing Luigi's A-Dash move where he races into someone while weakly waving his fists is hilarious. Ness's psychic attacks were shown brilliantly. The expressions on their faces were very accurate. Fox never looked so mean.

Sound
: 9.9
The music in every stage, scene, and setting was great. You could hear player's themes, mystical music, depressing failures, and trimuphant fanfare. Even the voices were good. It's priceless to hear Jigglypuff scream when knocked out. And if you can unlock the secret Sound Test option, you can hear special effects and music in their entirety.

Gameplay: 9.5
Okay, so the plot leaves something to be desired, but it isn't really too important. I can see where the Master Hand fits in, but he seems weak for a giant glove.

Control: 9.2
Even though this was the weakest point about the game, it had pretty good control. 90% of the time, your moves would work perfectly, but the other 10%, it seemed as though there was a slight slowness in response time, which could sometimes mean plummeting to your doom.

Replay Value: 10
What else can I say? It has you coming back for more.

Overall Rating: 9.68
Comments: Young and old gamers will appreciate this cute-yet-dangerous fighting game. Extremely good, especially when fighting up to three computer players and/or real people.
Pros: The fact that Nintendo's biggest stars appear to kick the crap out of each other is enough, but they went on to add secret characters and features.
Cons: Link's jumping ability and Fox's weak attacks. They seem out of proportion.
