Ever since the death of the Life Virus, strange things have been happening all over the Net. The Net branch of the CIA have traced all of these happenings to an abandoned area of the net, which was once called Naviton. Naviton was the first portrait created for the sole purpose of creating new Navis. During the tests in the portrait, Dr. Wily hacked into the portrait and tried to copy the data. But, the Navi that was created there, a Navi incarnate of the ancient hero X, knew that wily had to be stopped, so he did. Enraged, Wily sent in his creation, the Deth Virus. X swiftly defeated the virus, and locked it away somewhere in the portrait, which is still unknown to this day. We believe that since these happenings, X has long been inactive, and the Deth Virus has only become more powerful. This power is believed to be causing the problems over the net. We have sent in Talisman and a group of our top Navi agents to intercept the beast, and hopefully reawaken the portrait and the now dormant X. If this is not achieved, then it could mean obliteration for all we have come to achieve. Let us pray they succeed... |
