About 19 years ago a very handsome bearded collie waggled his way into my life. Poldark was my first dog. After 13 years we brought in another dog to keep Poldark company while he was getting older. So we brought home our first Poruguese Water Dog. When Poldark Passed at 17 years of age. Our second Portuguese Water came in to our home. Then about a year later I started to thing about the breeds I love and Bearded Collies still remains the top dog breed for me. So here I go again falling in love with the furry long haired breed. They are so loving and kind, fun, herding breed.
    Our Portuguese Water Dogs are very big part of our heart and home. Paris is my silly little furry baby, will a heart for training. She trains in Agility, Obedience, and Rally-o. She will be starting training in herding. Triton is the strong, loving curly boy who is my buddy and I will do anyting for him, as he does anything for me.
     So where do the Portuguese Sheepdogs fall in the busy life. Well I am the Co-founder of the
Portuguese Sheepdog Club of America. They remind me of both the PWD and Beardies. They are only starting to come into the USA. We are so happy to help the new owners of this rare breed.
We are interested to help with training, showing, finding breeders.
