Rubik

Rubik's cube is my latest hobby. I bought my first cube last summer because I had a nice book with many games, and Rubik's cube was among them so I wanted to see if the algorithm in the book really worked. It worked, and I even learnt it by heart. It's a layer-by-layer algorithm. I took the cube to Finland and it stayed in the drawer for a long time, until one day I saw a guy with a cube, and I remembered I had one too, so I took it out and looked for a solving algorithm on the internet (I had forgotten the first algorithm). The first (and I think the best) site I came to was Lars Petrus' site. I learnt the algorithm in about a week, this happenned in January 2004, and now (April 2004) I can solve the cube in about 1 minute 20 seconds. My best time is 56.22 seconds, and my best average of 12 is 1:15.4.

Since my cube times won't stay forever the same, I've made a table where I've put my cube records and the dates when they were achieved. This will show too my improvements.
