Saturday we (me, sister, parents, aunt, uncle and 2 cousins) flew into NY and checked in our hotel. Hotels in NY are way too expensive. Our room was $250/night and the overall quality was pretty seedy. My guess as to why it was so expensive is that it is right across the street from Madison Square Garden. Anyways, after dinner that night we walked up to Times Square and looked at all the pretty lights. Then my sister and I met up with Alex. We hit a couple bars in the Lower East Side, but like the Mission here, that area is becoming way too gentrified. I've never gone out at night with my sister - and it's funny because guys hit on her wherever she is. We started off at Shampoo, which was a pretty yuppie crowd. We left quickly and tried to go to Cock, but the line was too long. We wound up at Sapphire, just kicking back. It was fun to see Alex.
