Henry and Jane Sanders were in Franklin County, Georgia, in the very early 1800's. They were in Pickens County, Alabama, in 1830, and from there went to Carroll County, Mississippi. I am a descendant of their daughter, Zilpha Sanders, who married Hardy Bennett. See Bennett page for their children.
Excerpts from the will of Henry Sanders, probated in Carroll County, MS, October Term, 1840: Leaves to his wife, Jane Sanders during her lifetime, and after her death to be equally divided between the heirs lawfully begotten of my body, plantation on which I now live, mentions sorrell horse, hogs, crops now growing; one roan mare and colt to grandson Newton Corbin, mare and colt now in possession of William B. Corbin; cow and calf to Presley Sanders Ezell; appoints Moses B. Harrell Executor.
Henry and Jane Sander's daughter Jane married William B. Corbin, who was born about 1798 in GA. Jane Sanders was born about 1802 in GA. They had the following children:

- Henry C. Corbin born about 1835 Alabama; married Martha B. McCaulla; was in Carroll County, MS in 1860
- Jane Corbin born about 1838 MS; married James Campbell 27 Oct 1859 in Jefferson Co., AR
- Matilda Corbin born about 1842 in MS; married first James McCauley on 15 Feb 1857; married second Ridley Thomas
- Ardenia Adaline Corbin born 29 Dec 1845 in MS; married Onslow Marshall Hood; buried in Bell Co., TX
- Charles Corbin born about 1848
