David Hampton Little, son of Hampton Holcomb Little and Sabra Jane Arbuckle, was born in Tallahatchie County, Mississippi, on 25 April 1869. He married Maudie Kerr on 9 January 1889. Maudie was born 24 June 1874 and died 29 October 1952. David Hampton Little died on 25 February 1961, and he and Maudie are buried in Charleston, Tallahatchie County, MS. They had seventeen children, all born in Tallahatchie County:
- Mary P. Little born 1889, married Floyd Holland on 23 August 1911, in Charleston, MS. Mary died in 1925 and is buried at New Hope Cemetery, Murphreesboro, MS.
- Joseph Hampton Little born 24 October 1890; married Eva J. Ogles (1896 - 1963) on 20 January 1911, at Charleston. Joseph Hampton died in 1956. They are buried at Adam�s Arbor Cemetery near Paynes, Tallahatchie Co., MS.
- Fair L. Little born 1891; married Huldia Dueberry on 18 June 1916, at Charleston, died 1957, and is buried at Drew Cemetery, Drew, Sunflower County, MS.
- Callie Little born 23 Sept 1893; married Will D. Tennison (7 July 1888 - 30 April 1971) on 24 Dec 1911 at Charleston; died 29 June 1981. They are buried at Magnolia Gardens, Paynes, MS.
- Levi Little born 1895; married Annie Tigue/Teague on 16 August 1914; buried at New Hope Cemetery, Tallahatchie County, but there is no marker.
- Lorna Little born June 1897; married Robert Ethridge on 16 February 1919; buried at New Hope, no marker.
- Boas Little born 8 May 1898; married Effie Mounce (24 March 1900 - 25 February 1981; daughter of Frank and Anna Mounce) on 31 March 1918 at Charleston; died 9 December 1966.
- Florence Little born 1899; married Isaiah Harris on 8 November 1913, died 1918; buried at New Hope Cemetery; no marker
- Beulah Little born 18 March 1901; married Tommy Burk on 28 August 1919; resided in Covington, TN; died 20 January 1992, in Covington, TN.

- George W. Little born 18 March 1904; married Annie May Simmons on 28 November 1926, at Charleston. Mary May was born 29 October 1909 and died 22 June 1948. George married second Morris Goodnight. George died 22 March 1973, and he and Annie are buried at Charleston Cemetery.
- Lillie Mae Little born 15 June 1905; married William Jesse "Bud" Moorman on 8 January 1920; died 23 January 1985. Bud was born 12 March 1896 and died 22 October 1983. They are buried in Magnolia Gardens. (Their son, Morris Moorman, was killed in WWII.)
- John C. Little was born 31 December 1907; married Ethal Byars on 18 December 1926, at Sumner, Tallahatchie County. John died 12 February 1957 and is buried at New Hope Cemetery.
- Annie Lou Little born 14 January 1909; married Hampton Little (son of Joseph T. Little and Maggie Coleman; grandson of Thomas Little). Annie Lou died 31 October 1997. Hampton was born 27 April 1903 and died 16 August 1975. They are buried at Adam�s Arbor Cemetery.
- Essie Lee Little born 22 April 1911; married Joe R. Tennison (22 June 1906 - 10 February 1983) on 24 December 1926; died 2 January 1990; buried at Charleston Cemetery.
- Bessie Bee Little born 22 April 1911; married Freeman Coleman on 10 July 1927, at Sumner, MS. Freeman was born 20 February 1907 and died 17 May 1980.
