My Trip to California, August 2002
My trip to California was amazing! I was so excited that I got to go, thanks to my friends Nathaniel, McGlade, and Lewis, I had a great time! They were nice enough and took me all over the Los Angeles region.

McGlade, Me, and Nathaniel at dollar beer nite, boy was that nite wild back at the apartment.... Lewis, Me, and McGlade, all pimping up to go out for a nite on the town....McGlade even bought us all Martini's at the Martini Lounge.


One night Nathaniel took me up to Santa Monica, it was the cool place to hang out in LA. There is an amusement park out on the Pier, and then the Promenade where there is a strip on the street full of shops and restaurants. We got to eat dinner out on the Promenade, (and we even lost McGlade's car at the parking deck, oops!).

The last day I was in Los Angeles, McGlade was sweet and drove his sister and I around to all the tourist attractions. I had been bugging him all week to take me. I was glad that I got to see Hollywood because it was nothing I had imagined. Not glamorous or what I expected it to be, it changed my perceptions of Los Angeles. Beverly Hills was what I thought it would be, Definitely 90210 played in my head driving down the street.

Universal Hollywood, GORGEOUS!

Me in front of Hollywood sign, if you can see Hollywood, you aren't allowed to go near the sign so Mike found a perfect picture spot. We got to go shopping on Rodeo Drive, not what I expected, can we say Tiffany is 3 floors!> The next picture doesn't even give the Malibu Canyons justice, they are so gorgeous, I so want to go hiking or roaming around out in that tiny desert.
