Guarantee of Non-Disclaimer
The following text is a typical set of disclaimers used by publishers and authors of software literature and other intellectual property, e.g. software itself. I do not use these or anything like them. Rather, I provide my personal and professional guarantee of correctness, and fitness for particular purposes, of the software and literature that I produce. Why would an employer hire a prospective employee who was unwilling to guarantee that he or she could do the work required? Why should you trust a book, article, or program which does not guarantee at least the competence you demand from an employee? Rediculous.

How can you trust the programmer when the programmer can't trust the language reference?
Although well researched, presumably by using the documentation produced by Visual Basic's designer, Microsoft, there's no guarantee the information on the product is correct.
