I don't know if Ian would have left Eve for Lucy, but since Ian and Eve spent most of their time irritating the crap out of each other, I don't know that they would have stayed together in the long term. (Alexis B)

NEW-If Eve hadn't died, I agree with Desi that her and Ian would have gotten a divorce and her and Chris would have eventually gotten together. But I also think that the Danny parentage would eventually come into question. (Ginny)
