TERRIERS OPEN UP ROUND 2 WITH WIN OVER PILOTS

The Therapy Terriers opened up round 2 (B SIDE) of their playoffs with a 10-8 win over the Pilot Mound Pilots. Robby Moar scored 4 times and added 2 assists as the Terriers took a 1-0 series lead. Brent Schellenberg (1G-4A), Taylor Fingas (3G-1A), Chad Miller (2G) AND Foss Giffin (2A) all had multi point games while Grant McDonald, Jeremy Dufresne, Cameron Mulder and Jordan Williams all earned single assists. Kyle McGibney stood tall in net for the Terriers earning the victory.

CASE'S OT MARKER SENDS AGMT TO B SIDE

Kyle Case banged in a rebound just over a minute into overtime as Laings Terrier 4 skated to a 6-5 victory and into the second round of the playoffs. Ryan Laing led Terrier 4 with 3 goals while Brendan Brydges scored the other 2. The exciting match was highlighted by brilliant goaltending by Luke Loeppky, Dustin Lavallee and Kyle McGibney. Brent Schellenberg led the massagers with 4 GOALS and an assist. Robby Moar counted 1 goal and 4 assists and Cameron Mulder chipped in with an assist. The massagers scored all 5 of their goals in the third after falling behind 4-0.

BIG 2nd PERIOD PACES LAINGS OVER MASSAGERS

Terrier 4 overcame a 3-0 deficit after 1 and came back to defeat The Allyson Giffin Massage Therapy Terriers 9-4 and even the best of 3 at 1. Ryan Laing paced Terrier 4 with 4 goals, Brendan Brydges added a hat trick and Cole Brydges and Mike Wiebe rounded out the scoring for the winners. Robby Moar with 3 and Taylor Fingas scored for the losers. Brent Schellenberg picked up 2 assists.

TERRIERS TIE EXIBITION IN OAKVILLE

Kyle Mcgibney picked up his first assist of the year as the Allyson Giffin Massage Therapy Terriers traveled to Oakville for an exhibition game. Chad Miller had 3 goals and an assist, Taylor Fingas had 2 goals and an assist and Brent Schellenberg 1 goal, 2 assists helped the Terriers earn the draw. Foss Giffin rounded out the scoring with Grant McDonald getting 2 assists and Robby Moar 1

OLD RIVALS GO TO O.T IN GAME 1

Kyle McGibney and Jeremy Dufresne proved to be the difference in Game 1 of the PVMHL playoffs. Jeremy Dufresne converted a Robby Moar pass at 5:13 of OT and the Walls of McGibney stood strong as the Massagers beat Laings in a contest that could have gone either way. Taylor Fingas and Brent Schellenberg also scored for the winners while Brendan Brydges and Ryan Laing replied for the Terrier 4s. Next game is Friday at 6pm. In other league news Cartwright defeated Terrier 2 (Blights) 2 straight over the weekend.

TERRIERS 3 WIN FRIENDLY VS PORTAGE 1

The Allyson Giffin Massage Therapy Terriers rode the hot goaltending of Kyle McGibney to a 11-3 victory over Portage I. Grant McDonald had his first goal of the season and added an assist as both Terrier teams warmed up for their forthcoming PVMHL playoffs. Taylor Fingas had 3 goals and 2 assists for the winners with Chad Miller, Brent Schellenberg and Robby Moar all added two goals and three assists. Cameron Mulder rounded out the scoring with Dillon Vrooman adding an assist.

TERRIERS BEAT PILOT MOUND IN BARN BURNER

Brent Schellenberg (2g-2a) scored the winner with 15 seconds left as the Allyson Giffin Massage Therapy Terriers finished out the PVMHL regular season today. Pilot Mound had tied the game at 8 with 33 seconds left with their goalie on the bench, setting the stage for Schellenberg's late game heroics. Robby Moar led the Terriers with 3 goals and 3 assists, Jacob Moat had 2 goals and an assist, and Taylor Fingas added a goal and an assist. Chad Miller scored and Jordan Williams added an assist. TERRIERS III BEAT TERRIERS II IN PVMHL ACTION

Brent Schellenberg (3G-1A) and Chad Miller (3g-1a) each scored hat tricks as the Allyson Giffin Massage Therapy Terriers beat Terriers ii (Blight) 9-5 in league action at the Portage Centennial Arena. Taylor Fingas scored twice and added 3 helpers and Robby Moar rounded out the scoring. Kyle McGibney sparkled in net for the winners.

TERRIERS TIE IN PILOT MOUND

The Allyson Giffin Massage Therapy Terriers brought their losing skid to a halt with a 8-8 tie in Pilot Mound. Brent Schellenberg paced the Terriers with 6 goals and Robby Moar chipped in with 4 assists. Taylor Fingas scored twice to round out the Portage scoring. Kyle McGibney played well despite allowing the 8 Pilot Mound goals.
