2007, as Charles Dickens said, was "... the best of times, it was the worst of times".
Lacey moved back 'home' to Sussex for the spring and summer to get ready for her first show undersaddle, the Sunrise Summer Classic. Overall it was a great weekend and good start to her show career. We also attended riding camp at Ben-Adhem in August and had a great time!
~Things were dampened by a devastating blow the same week with the tragic loss of my beautiful and very, very special Bree. It is easy to forget how fragile life really is until it is gone. It's impossible to find words but everyone that met Bree knew what a lovely, talented and absolutely gorgeous dog she was. She is gone far too soon and much to accomplish. Losing her has left a huge hole that can never be filled. I will miss her oh-so- happy personality and Collie smile forever.
