| We then watched the lighting of the big Christmas tree at Covent Garden, complete with fireworks, then headed out to a pub to get warm. On the way to the pub, we came acrossthis man playing Chinese pipes. His sign said that this is one of the oldest instruments in the world and is the precursor to the modern pipe organ. When Wyndi & Katie headed back out to do a last bit of shopping, we discovered the Salvation Army band playing Christmas carols out by the Christmas tree. We stuck around and sang a bunch of songs and it definitely started to feel like Christmas! |
