| Trooping of the Colour |
| On the first weekend in June, we went to the Mall outside Buckingham Palace to watch the Trooping of the Colour, which takes place on the Saturday nearest the Queen's official birthday (as opposed to her actual birthday, which is in April). It was a rainy, miserable day -- but the parade was spectacular, and at least the rain helped keep the crowds size down! |
