Thursday was our last day together (sigh!) -- but we packed a lot in.
While Chris and Chris were at Lord's Cricket Grounds -- the most hallowed spot in the game -- Heff and Katie headed to Westminster Abbey. A Holy Thursday service was just letting out, and we saw the queen's husband, Prince Philip, get into his chauffered car and drive away. Of course we chased him down with the rest of the paparazzi to snap a picture, and he was very friendly and gracious with the crowd.
We all met back at St. Paul's cathedral and had a look around -- and Katie, Chris and Chris climbed the 637 steps to the top of the dome to get a great view of London. We also stopped by Katie and Chris's office for another great view of the city.
We had one last dinner together, then Heff and Chris ended the evening together with the show "Chicago". It was over much too soon, but wonderful to have a chance to spend a week together -- and even better to be able to do it in London!
