On Sunday, we had a great brunch at PJ's, then headed out to Speaker's Corner in Hyde Park. (Have we mentioned yet that it was sunny and beautiful?)
While we were listening to everyone up on a soapbox, Chris C met a bobby -- and it was clear by the respect he had for Chris's dad (a NYC cop) that the police fraternity covers both sides of the Atlantic.
We found the Peter Pan statue (a natural for Heff, our own Peter Pan), and Heff showed us the hugging bear statue which had been a favorite of hers when she spent a semester in London during college.
We refreshed ourselves by having tea in the Orangery at Kensington Palace, then spent some time at Lillywhites, a sporting goods store at Piccadilly Circus -- where Chris C quizzed the sales guys about cricket and taught them a thing or two about baseball!
