After countless performances at coffee houses and open mic nights since 1984, the two gigs I remember the most were a "Here & Now" concert  on the south coast near Big Sur, CA.At Essalen Center We invited the famed African Drummer
Baba Olatunji to join us for our whole second set. By the end of the set people were mostly naked dancing around the auditorium.
The other gig was at Golden Gate Park SF,CA. A Ben & Jerry's Free concert "Here & Now" was the opening band. That concert we opened up for
"Santana", "Michelle Shocked", "Hot Tuna" and "Blues Travelers". What an experience!
I played music in the band "Here & Now"  until 1994 in various
forms of "Here & Now".
Ruder Alice was one of these bands playing in the San Francisco Bay area and getting great airplay on KFOG and other SanFracisco area radio stations.
From 1994-1995 I played in a band called "
Greenbrea Daze". This was my favorite musical collaboration yet. Greenbrea Daze was the most progressive rockin band I played with.
Everything from drums to bass to vocals blew my mind and especially the prismic lightning leads that Gus Julin smoked out.
After Greenbrea Daze I left California to live in Mountains somewhere east of the mississippi.
We planned two trips one to the south and one to the north. After comming to the Blue Ridge
Mountains we didnt want to leave. We found a nice house in the mountains. That is where the
Porch Daddies started jamming.
After years of porch jammin and recording some great CD's, sorry to say the
Porch Daddies are no longer.

KEEP ENJOYING THE TUNES THOUGH......
