DRAKE PETERS ARRESTED BY COVERT NATIONAL FORCES.
Forces loyal to Drake given 24 hours to surrender or else ultimatum by the Prime

The Prime Minister has done it. After taking a heavy beating in the polls over the last few months in relation to his handling of the Camelot rebel situation the Prime Minister has done the remarkable, possibly ending the situation without a fight. Covert forces, loyal to the nation were able to arrest Mr. Peters in a downtown government building in the town of Camelot without any struggle and fly out without any resistance from Camelot forces. A government spokesperson, in the military city of Victory Union later in the day addressed reporters questions as the chopper that held Mr. Peters flew into the military base behind a throng of security. A general statement was read to the media followed by the answering of questions. The statement itself noted that, 'The Prime Minister would like to offer amnesty for all those who wish to put down their arms and surrender. The nation of PopularFreedom will not prosecute you in relation to your crimes against the entire nation. The individual who has misled you Mr. Drake Peters is now in our custody. Forces loyal to the nation of PopularFreedom dressed in your uniforms were able to apprehend Mr. Peters and leave Camelot without delay. Had we wanted we could have removed you all however we do not wish bloodshed. Surrender now and all will be forgotten. Resist and the remainder of our covert forces still scattered amongst your armed forces will remove you from power and you will face the full wrath of the laws of this land. We give you 24 hours though do be warned that if any of our forces are attacked we will consider that an act of war and your amnesty period will cease to exist so those who wish amnesty should surrender without delay.' ________________________________________ '...you should consider that we are in a state of war.' -spokesperson for the PopularFreedom government. ________________________________________ After this statement the spokesperson for the government answered three questions before giving one final statement directed towards PopularFreedom citizens. 'All members of the nation please remain calm, however at this time and for the next 24 hours our military will be at red alert and you should consider that we are in a state of war. All non-essential services will be suspended until final notice. This state of war is noted to ensure our readiness in case the enemy does think that it will resist, thank you again for your support, long live a strong and united PopularFreedom' This news service will keep you updated to any developing issues in relation to this story. |
