HEARTLAND OLYMPICS SOCCER SURPRISE.

Report by: Paul Lemieux
PFT News, REGIONAL REPORT

The Locke Harbour Soccer team has been surprising many soccer pundits at the current Heartland Olympics.  After a shocking win in their first match against Cherisovia, they then were able to hang on for a draw against a seemingly far superior squad from Angel Lunar.

The team from Locke Harbour is representing the nation due to the fact that the Olympics overlap both the BFL and the Pearson Cliffs seasons.

Fans from Locke Harbour despite the fact that their team was the underdog heading into the olympics still were on hand to cheer on their squad.  'Obviously we are not the best team in the nation, but we are still good and we're gonna keep doing what we are doing and hope for the best as we have done awesome thus far', noted one fan at their recent game against Angel Lunar.  With games against Caselonia and Aldeshar however it will be interesting to note how the Locke Harbour squad does against these soccer powers.

Players from the Locke Harbour soccer squad celebrate after scoring a goal against Cherisovia in their game this past Saturday.
