MATCH OF THE DAY: PEARSON VS WORKERS POINT.

Bobcats and Pirates match should be a try fest..

PFT News, Workers Point

Arguably two of the most exciting teams battle it out today in Workers Point.

The Pearson Pirates are coming off a loss against the Warriors last week while Workers Point has an identical record of 2-1.

'We know the Pirates, we know they are strong scoring team, with a lot of creativity, we know what to expect from their backs', noted Bobcats coach Peru Gonzales.

Lock Alex Thompson of the Pirates is hoping to rebound after 2 weaker games on his part.  'This game means a lot to us.  We should never have lost last week but with the move [of the game from home to away] we were thrown off.  We have no excuses today.'

Pirates coach Jason Mitchell was more to the point when asked what he thought of the game today.  'Expect war', was all he had to note.
