The damage from the riot in the neighbourhood of Pleasantview, in the city of Loyalty Bay will be in the hundreds of thousands at the least. As residents woke up this morning to see what remained of their cars police were busy watching video tape footage of the area. 'We have numerous video cameras in the area that we have access to so we expect to lay numerous more arrests in the coming days', noted a police spokesperson. ________________________________________ '...a bunch of fools burned their own neighbourhood...' -Pleasantview resident, Michelle Anoma. ________________________________________ Residents meanwhile were left shaking their heads. 'Idiots', vented one resident. 'Hooligans', quipped another. One was more eloquent noting that, 'A bunch of fools burned their own neighbourhood. If they burned North Beach I could understand, them burning their own streets though shows their stupidity.' Insurance adjusters were working through the morning on claims. A spokesperson for the insurance industry noted that anyone with a claim should be prepared to wait, 'a couple of hours'. |
