'MOSHPIT' ACCIDENT SENDS 25 TO HOSPITAL
Surge caught revelers off guard.

A rock concert at Champions Heaven Stadium turned tragic as 25 revealers
were caught in a surge this morning.
Most of the injured were taken to Locke Memorial Hospital, where they were later released though 3 still remained, 1 in critical condition. A representative for the organizers of the concert released a statement noting that, '...we regret the incident that happened today and are doing everything to ensure that all concerns in regards to it are dealt with accordingly'. ________________________________________ '...everything was fine, then all of a sudden a rapid surge pushed everyone forward at least 10 metres...' -Gill Berard, Independence guitarist. ________________________________________ The incident happened while the band Independence was playing their set. Lead guitarist Gill Berard noted that, 'the crowd seemed really friendly, everything was fine, then all of a sudden a rapid surge pushed everyone forward at least 10 metres, the people at the front got the worst of it'. Police noted they were looking into the incident and whether property safety measures were followed. |
