The rematch of the championship from last year means more than anyone could have ever thought. Workers Point and Locke Harbour both have had less than steller starts with both teams feeling the pressure for this 3rd game of the season. 'It is no secret, our fans are angry and if we do not produce today we will have a week of torment in the media', stated Dragons captain Owen Clarke Workers Point likewise is in a situation where at 1-1 they too need this win desperately. 'We are in the better situation, we dominated [Viscount] Bennett, and lost on a injury time score to the Lions last week. We are the better team and we will enact our revenge on LH this week', stated Bobcat forward Patrick Milner. ________________________________________ '...we are the better team and we will enact our revenge...' -Bobcat forward, Patrick Milner. ________________________________________
Sports Commentator Jim Wilson noted that, 'this is going to be a rucking, mauling, war of a match. You have, despite their records, two of the best, and definitely the most entertaining teams on the pitch in Locke Harbour today. A game that cannot be missed!' |
