BLIZZARD POUNDS PEARSON CLIFFS.
Storm flies in off the Great Ice Sea, dumping 35 centimetres of snow.

| Residents of Pearson Cliffs woke up to a
winter wonderland. During the night 35 centimetres of snow had hit
the city, while up to 50 centimetres fell in surrounding
municipalities.
Most residents who ventured outside though reacted without emotion in regards to the weather. 'We live in Pearson Cliffs, so this is normal', quoted one resident. Kyle Thomas, a newcomer from Workers Point was a little less appreciative of the snow. 'We occasionally get the tail end of the storms that hit Pearson Cliffs, so we might get a centimetre or two, but nothing like this!' Tony Wu, a spokeperson for the municipal police noted that, 'residents are advised to stay home unless it is an emergency'. ________________________________________ 'residents are advised to stay home unless it is an emergency.' -Tony Wu, Police Spokeperson ________________________________________ As normal, after hitting Pearson Cliffs the storm ambled out west of the continent sparing Loyalty Bay any precipitation at all. 'That is the frustrating part of living here', complained one resident. 'We never get enough money for snow removal because the rest of the country rarely if ever sees snow'. |
