You've been there for me through so much & listened to me complain and cry..and for that, you'll never know how much I appreciate you. Our psychic moments are kinda scary sometimes, but I guess it just goes to show that we were meant to be friends (like how i got the same glasses as u & didn't even realize) Gotta love our 'getters', "versace flannel", your past days as member of the LGC, per.3, real world, watching midnight <3 on school nights when we shoulda been sleepin, the shirt denise made for theo on cosby, fridays, #32, & mall trips 4 cinnabons.
.:Courtney:.-You always encourage me & give me the extra push when I need it--it's that athletic beast in u lol. Thanks so much for all of the long phone conversations & cheering me up when I needed it & aalways being in my group for those horrible spanish projects. The movie nights @ ur house, chillin at the mall, eating bacon egg & cheese sandwiches, & playing w/Pepper are the best!
.:Uche:. a.k.a. Superwoman-You are one of the strongest people I know. From day 1 you've been helping me out when i have no clue what was going on. You always stood by me, even when nobody else would, and I will always be grateful for that. I've said it 1,000 times, but you really are my backbone. I feel stronger with you around! I'll never forget the Drew step show (#32)! Thanks for all the laughs during orchestra (when we were actually there lol) & no matter what you say, you really are one of the biggest pimps i know. .:Afam:.-You are so much more than the token guy friend/surrogate bf to all of us, and you really make me feel so much better about myself when I need it. I'm so glad you finally came out of your shell senior yr. (Boston, bowling trips, chillin @ court & jill's, prom & your poplocking tape lol, Meadowlands Fair, math/physics, etc.) You r more important to me than u could possibly know & I feel so much better about being away from home having you around.
.:Alyson:.-I will never forget meeting you in health freshman year, and I really think that we were the only ones who appreciated those movies! We had too much fun cracking fat jokes (& even though they were mean, they really did cheer me up). ur probably one of the only ppl who has seen all my sides, good, bad, and crazy, the fact that we're still friends says a lot about u lol..thanx for always being there & reminding me that there are things in life that you don't always have to take seriously.
.:Kristen:.-what can I say?, you're the best!..you've stood up for me more times than i can count I love you so much for that! You always make me feel like i should be comfortable in my own skin (& not give a sh*t about what other ppl have to say) you've taken care of me during some reeeally embarrasing times & still never made me feel bad. I definitely stand by my statement of "anyone willing to clean up your puke is a true friend"! You did one of the sweetest things ever when u came over that week i had my wisdom teeth removed and u brought me flowers--and even though my face was huge and swollen u showed me love & i will always remember that! Thanx for making my transition to Temple so great.
.:Yolanda:.-It's so weird how I know you so well...but i guess its just a part of what makes our friendship so great. Thanks for finally letting me see & the rowdy side of you! (especially @ the bball games) Thanks for covering for me all those times I was late to class or needed to get out of certain situations. Remember the NA fashion show & the african dance? Thanx for making Kean my 2nd home, and I swear, one of these days we'll find stuff 2 do lol. Please remember that you are worth so much more than you think & there is just some stuff you don't have to put up with.
.:Monique:.-we go waaayy back to the girl scout days & those times in PA (making up dances & doing gymnastics). I saw my 1st scary movie (Creep Show hahaha) and had my 1st real sleepover with you. You've been such a good friend to me for such a long time, and I have a bond with you like no one else. hopefully one of these days i'm gonna get the balls that you have, but until then ur just gonna have to have enough 4 the both of us lol. gotta love how till this day we can still watch teen witch and it's as great as the first time hehe
.:Allia:.-Although we didn't hit it off so great in the beginning we became really close this summer..sometimes we think so much alike about some things it's scary. It's so sad how we lived around the corner from eachother forever but never became friends. I really appreciate how you aaalways listen to me and understand so many of the situations I get myself in to. Keep ur head up hun, nothing is as bad as it may seem!
.:Susan:.-I really wish we could've became friends when we actually went to the same school-lol. All the times we've spent together have been really fun...especially all the times you cheered me up & being souped over certain things. Being able to get closer to you at school has been such a blessing, and I feel like my temple experience would be very different without you. Thanks for letting me parafin, watching cosby @ ur house, visiting me at my various jobs when i'm having a boring day! :o), & for always making me feel like i'm actually talented (w/my freestyles lol)
.:Naia:.-Since freshman bio you helped me embrace my roots (haha) & discover my love of soul food, ginuwine, & jersey gardens. Thanx for all the times u saved me (from lauren!). You've always been willing to fight any chick that pissed me off and I love you so much for that. Although you still find it hilarious that I was attacked by that bird, I love you anyway hehe. Tell ur dad to stop with the "going going back back..." song ok! jk.
.:Rob:.-You mean the world to me & ever since 6th grade you've been one of my best friends. Sorry for all those times I mentioned the lion (but you really were the best!) & turning 'fatty girl' into 'fatty boy' just 4 u lol jk! never forget all the fun we had this summer @ the cookouts & mcdonalds lol. For someone so small (yes, I'm bigger than you don't argue lol), you have such a big heart! Never forget our times @ lunch, diamantes, health, etc. lately we've become closer and i feel a lot better knowing i have u to talk to thanks for being an amazing listener, and recognizing the gangsta lol jk
