| F4's value have tripled! They are now Pepsi Superstars and are scheduled to be filming their individual commercials soon. Jerry Yan, not only revealed his muscular build and his 'super man' image in the recent photoshoot, his income is also a record amongst the four of them. Jerry alone will be raking in over $10million for his company. Last year, F4 became spokespeople for Pepsi and their income was banked as a whole, now that they have gone solo, this amount has tripled. Despite SARS, they will each film a commercial this month. Ken will filming his in Hong Kong. When trying out the outfits for his 10 different images, even Ken had to admit that he was 'shuai!'. Jerry has been on holidays and his whereabouts were quite mysterious. But in the new photoshoot, his muscles were more obvious, hence the organizers immediately decided to film him revealing his chest. He managed to beat muscle man Vanness at his own game! The international market for Jerry is looking very prosperous. Adding together all his promotional and advertising activities, it exceeds the other three.(YEAH!! GO JERRY!) The next in line is Vic Zhou. In contrast, he was wrapped completely from head to toe, but very adorable. His income closely follows Jerry, but everyone thinks he won big time, no need to do training and still rakes in big bucks! Vanness has gone for more of the sunny appeal, being conservative about what he reveals. But when he saw Jerry's muscles, he was taken back: "What? You've been training in hiding, not bad ah..." Since going solo, the four are still immensely popular, and now might proceed to going to a Pepsi Superstar tour activity in Thailand and other countries. | The F4 has just made it big in the Philippines after Meteor Garden 1 was released on May 05. As of now, their characters� names (Dao Ming Si, Hua Ze Lei, Xi Men, Mei Zuo) can be heard everywhere, from kids to teens to adults (including seniors). Because of their sudden popularity, the F4 songs tops the myx daily and weekly hitcharts, including the song Broken Vow. They defeated a lot of well-known artists such as Christina Aguilera, Jason Mraz, Linkin Park, Simple Plan, Matchbox 20, Avril Lavigne, and a lot more! They have beaten a lot of television programs and because of this, news about them have been included in other shows also. People are just too crazy about them(umm.. can�t be more crazy than the Chinese ppl! After all F4 is still Chinese..), that you could find their pictures/picture messages/ringing tones in the cellphones of the F4 fans(yup.. and that already happened like..2 years ago in china..). Not only this, vendors of the F4 posters are making money fast(yah, and the Chinese vendor of F4 posters are probably already billionaires by now..)! | Due to SARS. filming of Star Runner have been greatly affected. Vanness was scheduled to visit HK for filming soon but it is still uncertain for Vic and Ken who will be guest-starring in the movie. Star Runner�s filming has been delayed for 2 weeks, resulting in a loss of millions of dollars (HK currency). Luckily, Vanness will be arriving in HK soon so there will not be much impact. It's still not certain as to whether Zai Zai or Ken will be guest-starring in the movie. Because they will have to be quarantined after returning from HK and this will affect their other work commitments also. | This year, F4 disbanding is the hottest rumor going around. However, their management company stresses that F4 have not disbanded, they will just be filming their upcoming Pepsi commercials separately. Each with a different commercial and song. Last 2 yeasr, F4 rose to fame as Meteor Garden spread around the world. Pepsi immdiately snatched them for a commercial with an 8 digit figure payment. They also sang Ask For More, the Pepsi theme song. After a year, in 2003 Pepsi once again invited F4 to be their spokespeople. The only difference is that they will be appearing individually. Pepsi expresses: " In F4, Jerry is very cool, Zai Zai is a prince, Vanness is very active and Ken has a lot of character. Their fans are different and that's why we have put them in the commercials separately to allow them to attract different consumers and film different styles of commericials.� F4's Meteor Garden is now being broadcasted in Thailand. F4's popularity has spread around Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Indonesia and America, and now it's Thailand's turn. Pepsi have sensed this and will promote the four to become Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand's spokespersons as well, releasing their cans in the respective countries. Last year, F4's commercial raked in 8 digit figures. Now that they are filming alone, their income will also reach $8-$10million. Pepsi said: " The individual commercials will give F4 more room for individuality and also more income." But, F4 drinking the same Pepsi will be pocketing money according to their 'popularity'. Jerry and Zai Zai will be on one level(^_^) and Vanness and Ken on another. | After almost 2 months of resting, finally last week, Jerry returned to work. In the later part of the year, F4 besides attending Pepsi's actitivities, Jerry & Vic will be releasing their solo albums, Ken will be concentrating on his filming, Vanness will be preparing for his 2nd solo album, and F4 will be trying very hard to meet the requests of fans. In the beginning of the year, Jerry applied for 2 months leave from the company and has been living a carefree period playing basketball with his friends, dining with his friends, and even went to Japan to upgrade himself and at the same time to have a short break there. Originally planned to go to the US for his course but because of the war, he changed his destination from US to an acting academy in Tokyo, Japan. Attending 2 weeks of lessons in singing and body language courses. Jerry has been absent from the screen for 2 months and his manager Zi Xiang Li has been received about than 80 to 90 scripts for Jerry, and also turned down commercials offers. Lately mainland's media has been reporting that Jerry will be appearing in a drama with over 20 episodes with mainland's athelete Li Hui Tang, thus Jerry's company has to clarify again that if everytime they receive a script, they accept the job, then Jerry's work schedules will be ongoing till he's 80 years old! Having appearing less, this has made his fans miss him even more(yeah.. *sniffsniff*), one can also see fake messages left behind using Jerry's name. The latest job that Jerry is involved in is organized by basketball player Yao Ming and Jerry has donated a denim hat which has already see the highest bid at the present moment at about �10,000.00, thus can really see how popular Jerry is even when he's appearing less for now. Eating out at roadside restaurant in Japan When he was taking his courses, Jerry's everyday life has been spent in a very meaningful way. Whenever he has no classes he will take the train to go around for sightseeing, eating at the Tokyo roadside stores and will occasionally be recognized by the Japanese girls but he will very relaxed and smile and nod his head at the girls. After returning to Japan, his cheeks were flushed, his mood was extremely good and told his manager Zi Xiang Li happily, �I�m back! Tokyo was really really fun!� Last week, there was a doctor who went to Japan despite having SARS. With coincidience, Jerry took the same flight back with him to Taiwan, after knowing this, fans were very worried about the health of Jerry. | Zai Zai caught a flu because of Vivian Hsu(grr.. screw her.. poor zai zai*sniffsniff*), Hua Shi's [Kuang Ai] recently went to Yang Ming Shan for outdoor filming, the scene which Zai Zai was riding a bike with Vivian on the way to meet a client. That day there was a heavy downpour at Yang Ming Shan and both of them became very drenched, on top of that the little puppy was very incorperative, the scene which it was supposed to bite a shoe to a whole day to shoot. Vivian and Zai Zai both kept on laughing and once Zai Zai got home, he realized that he had already caught a slight flu.
