Restoration was started in 1990 when the body work was done. The car was striped down to its shell and new NOS quarters were installed and the car was painted. The car sat in our garage until 2000. In 2002 my brother Ron and I decided to finish restoration, it was time. It the pictures you will see professional at their finest, like one with nature, an artist with a brush, or just some mopar kids now guys working on what they love. Toph and T-Bone pictured to the left.
We decided to mount the engine to the k-frame and slide the assemble under the car and lower the car to the k-frame. This I have to say worked out better than I had anticipated. I would do it again.
The motor is in and the k-frame mount we made out of wood and mounted to a rolling dolly worked out just fine. The transmision is next.
Professional and renown restorers pictured to the left are T-Bone, Ronny and Toph. Its been rumered that they are some of the best known restorers in the states... I tell them to stop with the rumers but they won't.
The completely professionally re-built motor from 'Sandstroms Auto Machine' is now inplace.
