Norman Leroy Godfrey, the second son of Alvin
Godfrey Sr. and Rebecca (Brown) Godfrey, was born on

His was a life which led to tragedy for his spiritual
direction was hampered, even as everyone who does not

earn to listen to the inner consciousness concerning
the path which we should travel, for it is appointed
unto the human element to pass through transition and
even though our fate is set, we do have control over
our destiny.
He passed this life on July 4, 1969 in Newark, NJ and
was buried in Woodland Cemetery, Newark, NJ on July
10, 1969 by James E. Churchman Jr.; funeral home
of Newark, NJ.
