Leon Millott - Picked 8-7-04 A total of 750 pounds were pickedoff 100 vines. 7.5 pounds per vine. 2.25 tons/ acre. Gewurztraminer- Picked 8-21-04 A total of 280 pounds were picked off 50 vines. 5.6 pounds per vine. 1.75 tons/acre. Traminette - Picked 8-28-04 A total of 450 ponds were picked off 300 vines. Only about 100 vines had production because of water problems slowing vine developement. 4.5 pounds per producing vine. 1.5 pounds per vine. 1.5 tons per acre on producing vine, .45 ton/acre overall. Norton- picked 9-6-04 A total of 80 pounds on 100 vines. .8 pounds per vine or .25 tons/acre. Less than 25 vines were in production. This would give 3.2 pounds per producing vine. 1 ton/acre. Cabernet Sauvignon - picked 9-11-04 and 9-19-04 A total of 1082 pounds wer picked off 330 vines. 3.28 pounds per vine. 1 ton /acre. At least 25%-50% was lost to bunch stem necrosis which caused the grapes to raisin, and were thus not picked. Chamborcin - Picked 9-11-04 A total of 462 pounds were picked off 150 vines. 3.07 pounds per vine. .92 tons per acre. Cabernet Sauvignon at Fitts Road location. Picked 9-17-04. A total of 200 pounds was picked of 20 vines. 10 pounds per vine. 3 ton/acre. |
