Afterbirth still hangs from Momma as she continually cleans and nudges on the little ones to get them up and walking..It will soon be expelled and by natures way she will eat it so as to keep predators from sensing/smelling the presence of the birth or the little ones.

If given the opportunity, this Momma would get these babies hid off by themselves up on the hill, but its winter time and I have provided a nice quiet stall with plenty off hay and water so that they can stay in out of the wind and do a little "bonding" for a few days...I give Momma a hand full of goat feed a couple times a day to keep up her strength and help produce good milk..
