Hey Greg.
Hi Theresa!
For the new fans reading this, why don’t you tell us a little about yourself? How long have you been performing?
My name is Gregory Scott. I'm a 23 year old singer-songwriter from Los Angeles, CA. I started performing in musical theater when I was about 8 years old, and first performed my own songs when I was 18.
How would you describe your music?
It's pop with a mix of R&B and electronic on my first album. I've started work on my 2nd CD and its taken a much different direction. It's got more of a rock feel, but still incorporates a lot of the elements from pop and R&B that I love.
What can fans expect to find/experience at your shows?
A lot of fun, a lot of great songs, energetic and unique choreography, and a rockin' band!
What are your goals/hopes to accomplish with your music?
I love the feeling of connecting with someone through my music. When a person tells me that my song helped them through a hard time, or they quote one of my lrics and say, "wow, that's so true" then I feel like I've accomplished my goal.
If you could do a duet with any artist out there right now, who would it be and why?
Steven Curtis Chapman. I really want to sit down with him, write a song, see how he gets inspired, and listen to him record. I'd be so excited to work with him.
If you could open up for any artist out there right now, who would it be? If you could perform anywhere, where would you pick and why?
I was just at the Justin/Christina tour and they were on fire! I'd love to perform with them. As far as a venue, eventually I'll do a sort of "homecoming" performance- something very theatrical and over the top!
Do you got a favorite song to perform? If yes, what song and why?
I always have fun doing "Countdown" with my band. It sounds great live!
If you weren't singing, is there something else you could see yourself doing for a career?
If I could see myself doing something else, I'd probably be doing it.
Last one, What message would you like to send out to your fans?
A million thank yous for all of your amazing support! Everyone in the fan club, gspromocrew, street team, friends and fans who come to the shows. Everyone, thank you, thank you, thank you!
