Thanks to: BRIAN ANTHONY for doing this interview - you made this fun!

For new fans reading this, could you introduce yourself?
Hi guys, my name is Brian Anthony!!!! Hope everyone is great this summer so far and liking my new website www.brian-anthony.com!!!!!

If you had to describe yourself in three words, what would they be, and why?
Creative, Insanely Hyperactive, Happy/ Grateful

What's been the great moment in your career so far?
Well, there have been a lot of wonderful moments. It's really hard to pick just one. I'm getting fanmail from ASIA...and the first ones almost made me fall off my chair! That was great. Um, I performed and wrote music with Boys II Men in Philidelphia, that's another one. I performed at a club in LA on Melrose called "The GIG"....and I felt really really good about that. I just think everytime I have somebody new liking my music--that's a shining moment for me.

Do you guys ever experience stage fright before you perform?
You know, that's a good one. I have been performing for most of my short time on this planet--and that initial anxiety when you are about to "go on" kinda never really goes away. Like at "the GIG" in LA, that was kinda nerve-racking for me a little. I did like a 40 minute show and I had a lot of choreography swimming around in my head. I had like 6 GREAT DANCERS, and they calmed me down. It's funny though... The second I hear the music and the curtain lifts, it's like I become a totally different person. I feel like, completely in control--like there is nothing in the world I can't do, and I tend to get really really focused and aggressive. It's always the one time in my life where I feel like everything in the world is totally right...and I'm strongest...and I shine.

Who has been a big influence in your life, or who do you look up to musically?
I look up to a lot of people. I look up to George Michael, Prince, Billy Joel, Elton John, Aretha Franklin, Sheryl Crow, Johnny Mathis, Nat King Cole, Jennifer Holiday, Madonna, Britney Spears. I think it's a crazy business...and all these people have had solid visions of themselves and always remained true to who they were--and that, inturn, gave them staying power; longevity. I admire their courage and their sensibilities about the music they make.

Have you witnessed any crazy fans? If so, do some of them freak you out?
I've been really really lucky. The people who listen to my music are really awesome. After a show I'll come out and chat with who I can for however long I can...and it's realy great. I'm a lucky guy!

Do you have any plans for touring?
YUP! SURE DO! INFACT I CAN'T WAIT!!!! Workin' on it and will let you know! You can BET ON IT!

What can people expect from you this year?
I'm gonna be busy, BUSY, AND MORE BUSY!!!! I am working extremely hard in the studio and have been for awhile. I'm writing some really great new tunes, and things are sounding better than ever! Expect new music, lots of it, and a tad "edgier". (Did I spell that right??)

What's been your favorite place to perform at so far?
I would like to move ON to the future and say that...MY FAVORITE PLACE TO PERFORM WILL BE AT THE HOLLYWOOD AND HIGHLAND COMPLEX IN LA FOR "ON AIR" WITH RYAN SECREST! That's what I WANNA DO ASAP!!!! The energy there seems KILLER!

If you could give the aspiring bands/singers any tips on the music industry, what would they be, and why?
BE SMART about what you're doing. The music business is just that, "a business". Become a "business minded" person. Get involved in EVERY ASPECT of your career. Surround yourself with business people looking out for your best interests. And most importantly...and remember this one: "NEVER-- EVER GIVE UP!" The right people will notice you, eventually.

Have you though about doing acting?
I grew up acting and singing kinda at the same time. Both careers kind of lend themselves to one another. And they both are kind of "my first loves". I most recently did a table read for a film in pre-production that is kinda similar to "TITANIC" as one of three italian brothers who are bridgeworkers building the Golden Gate Bridge in 1934. So yeah, it's also something I'm working on. Definitely.

What's your favorite food and drink?
Talk about a tough question! I'm BEING SERIOUS! I LOVE FOOD! It'll be hard to pick... I assume we're talkin' guilty pleasures here...so I won't bring up this no carb thing I'm doing (with the rest of the planet it seems). There's nothin' like some good ol' supersized MCDONALD's FRENCH FRIES. I mean NOTHIN'! AND YES, "I'm LOVIN' IT!" There is nothin' like some chicken tenders from BURGER KING! Ooohhhhh boy! And I swear to you, there is nothin' like some soft serve vanilla ice cream dipped in that chocolate that hardens from Dairy Queen!! Woooohooo! That's what I'm talkin' 'bout! Nabisco Reduced Fat CHEEZ-ITS are my ultimately favorite snack food. Although, OREO's rock my world. And to wash it all down...McDonald's can always bring it ON HOME at Christmas time with their deliciously seasonal EGGNOG Milkshakes. Did I mention I love STARBUCKS BEAR CLAWS and TRIPLE VENTE SOY LATTES with one pump of SUGARFREE VANILLA SYRUP TOO?!??! See...you got me started!

Is there anything else you'd like to say? What would you like to say to your fans?
I have said it before and I'll say it 'till I'm blue in the face....!!! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!THANK YOU!THANK YOU!THANK YOU!THANK YOU!THANK YOU!THANK YOU!THANK YOU!THANK YOU!THANK YOU! For listening to my music and being so supportive and writing me and being so cool! THANKS!

PEACE OUT!!!!!
