What I think about Music
Dinosaur Rock:
Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, Journey, Bob Seger, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac.
These are the superbands that I grew up with and they still fascinate me.
I�ve collected concert videos of Floyd, Eagles and the Mac and introduced them to my kids. They loved it. They actually think their dad is kinda� cool. I always thought my dad�s music sucked.
My lifetime rock fantasy is to attend a Pink Floyd concert someday. I�m still holding out hope.

Guitar Legends:
You can�t top a good guitar solo. I find myself drawn to legends such as David Gilmour (Pink Floyd), Jimmy Page (Led Zepplin), Angus Young (ACDC) and Lenny Kravitz. These guys are gods!

Homegrown Canadian music:
Canada is the heart and soul of guitar rock. Bands like The Tragically Hip, Matthew Good, BTO and Kim Mitchell. It�s a staple I grew up on and can�t shake. I love it.

My new hero�s include The Red Hot Chili�s, Coldplay, Stone Temple Pilots and Audioslave. May they rock on.

Wow I guess the old man ain�t over the hill yet. I find myself listening to some of my kids music. We have the Much Loud channel on the dummy-box. Sometimes, I hear something I like. Bands include 3 doors down, Default, Evanescence, Finger eleven and Queens of the stoneage.

Country Music:
Tooooo depressing. Just about every song is about drinking, separation, dying or losing shit. Back east we used to call it Wino music, because most of the drunks would hang-out around Country Music bars���

What a great example for our kids to be watching. All of the guys are ganstas, flinging their fingers in our face and singing about their bitches and ho�s and bustin� a cap in somebody�s ass. Hardly anything I would want my kids aspiring to. You won�t find any of this garbage around my house���
except maybe the Beastie Boys.
