The Strong Family

The Strong Family currently consists of four members. In the foreground is Josh who is now nine years old. Behind him is the lady who holds us altogether with her love and patience: Mother, and wife, Inga. Willie is to the left behind Mom and is now seventeen. Being seventeen and almost an adult (who would have thought he'd make it this far!), prefers to be called Will now. He says he is passed the Willie stage. (Except to Mom and Dad!) And last is Dad who feels the most fortunate of men to have such a loving wife and family.
By the way, my name is Bill, a.k.a. Poppa.
The new addition that is mentioned under the family picture is a little girl that we have applied to adopt and hopefully she will be a Strong by Christmas
P.S. On Dec. 14, 2001 at 2:30 P.M., A new addition to the family was finalized: Vanessa Lynn Strong became our little daughter!!!

The picture is about six years old.
It will be updated as soon as there is a new
addition to the family....soon we hope!

The one thing that we always have extra of are children in our home. We have been a foster family for ten years. In that time we have had over three hundred children come through the door. Some have been over night and others have stayed more than a year. One little girl we have had since she was three days old and she is now two and a half.
Fostering has been a very rewarding experience for us. It has taught us tolerance of the plight of others and what we have learned from the children is to love better and deeper.
We currently have four kids with us and they will be with us a long time.
