Security Patch Parade Marches On

Microsoft has issued two patches that apply to several of its 
major applications. The first patch, for Internet Explorer 3.x, 
IE4.x and Windows 98, plugs a hole that would allow a malicious 
Web page to trick you into typing data into forms, thinking it 
came from a legitimate site. For a description of the 
problem-called the Frame Spoof Vulnerability-as well as the

Next, Microsoft has a patch for its Internet Information Server 
(IIS). This patch prevents malicious Web requests from crashing 
the Web server. If you run IIS, you should obtain this 
patch-particularly if the server is on the public Internet. The
