*1.   MISSING PRINT FILES IN AM-TAX SOFTWARE        
    
Here's another tip for those tax preparers who use AM Software's 
AM-Tax. The Early Bird Edition of the AM-Tax tax preparation 
software did not include the laser printer files for forms 4868, 
6198, 8332, 8396, 8606, 8615, 8801, 8815, and 8853. AM Software 
included these forms in the Early Bird because AM had converted 
them from the previous year. However, the company hadn't 
released final versions of these forms, making the necessary 
laser printer files unavailable. The final update to AM-Tax

*2.   NETWARE 5 SUPPORT PACK 1

*4.   INTERNET EXPLORER 4.01 SERVICE PACK         
    
Make sure you're surfing with the latest, greatest version of 
Microsoft's Internet Explorer 4. Microsoft recently released 
Internet Explorer 4.01 Service Pack 1 (SP1) for Windows 95 and NT 
4.0. This service pack (version 4.72.3110.8) updates both 
Internet Explorer 4.0 and 4.01, enhancing several features and

*5.   MADDEN NFL 99 PATCH        
    
Football season is over now, but you still have Madden NFL 99 to 
satisfy your football needs. If you're a player, you should be 
aware of a recently released patch for the product. This patch 
fixes the frame rate slowdown some users have experienced while 
playing on grass fields, allows you to download and install 
updated rosters on a weekly basis without affecting any of your 
current stats in season mode, and allows you to edit players

*6.   CORELDRAW 8 PATCH        
    
If you're running CorelDraw 8 on your NT workstation, you may 
experience some slowdowns opening files. Corel has identified a 
problem that caused a delay in File, Open and File, Import dialog 
boxes under NT 4. The patch fixes this problem while upgrading 
your version of CorelDraw 8 from build 369 to 433. For more

*7.   EASY ACCESS TO WINDOWS 98 UPDATES AND UTILITIES        
    
Updates to Windows 98 will be easier than in previous versions of 
Windows, thanks to a special section of the Microsoft Web site. 
If you've made the switch to Windows 98, you can download updates 
and utilities from the new Windows Update site, Microsoft's 
online extension of Windows 98. From Windows Update, you can 
download the latest updates for your Windows 98 system. You can

*8.   YAHOO MAIL BUG        
    
Having trouble reading e-mail from your foreign pen pals? Yahoo 
has acknowledged some problems with e-mails that contain 
foreign characters it doesn't support. The problem causes 
certain messages encoded with character sets other than US-ASCII 
to appear incorrectly. Yahoo currently encodes your outgoing 
messages with a US-ASCII character set; however, the company 
plans to add foreign character support in the near future. As of 
now there is no projected resolution date. 
 

*9.   DIRECT 3D FIX FOR NCAA FOOTBALL 99         
    
If you're treating your withdrawal from college football with EA 
Sport's NCAA Football 99, you may be interested in the recently 
released patch file. This patch addresses problems you may 
experience with Direct 3D cards, adds support to improve CPU 
utilization, and fixes a few known bugs in the software. It also 
enhances the performance of some 3D accelerator cards that

*10.   ADOBE IMAGEREADY FIXES        
    
Adobe's ImageReady is quickly becoming a favorite for home 
computer users who enjoy working with and manipulating photos. 
If you're using ImageReady now, you'll be interested in an 
update that fixes a number of minor problems discovered after 
version 1.0's release. You can download the update free if
