Crashes that sounded like thunder echoed though-out the sky. Flashes of bright light lit the blacked earth. One handsome soldier by the name of Kevin Richardson crouched down low ready to fight.
Getting the signal, he jumped up and ran clutching his gun to his body. He jumped and rolled he landed in a trench.

Kiara Richardson sat in her living room at home. She sighed sadly, she was so lonely. Her husband was fighting in the war and she missed him so much. She glanced at a picture of them together.

Slowly Kiara got to her feet and went to her bedroom. Tears filled her sapphire eyes. She spotted a picture and the memory filled her mind.
"Kiara, why are you so stubborn?! Would it kill you to go out with me once?" Kevin asked the pretty sophomore cheerleader after a football game one cool day.
She rolled her eyes and looked at him.
"Why would I want to go out with you? Just because you are a star football player and a senior does not mean I am interested in you!"
Kevin growled irritated. He stared into her stubborn eyes.
They had ended up going on their date and that was where the picture was taken. Kiara smiled a small smile. She and Kevin had had such a great time.

Kevin rolled through the mud breathing hard. He lay still for a minute in case anyone noticed him they would think he was dead. When he got the gut feeling, he jumped up and ran towards the base.
He heard a noise and rose his gun. He saw the back of a German soldier. With out hesitating, Kevin shot the man. A shot went off after his and Kevin felt a stabbing pain in his side. He crumpled to the ground.

Kiara sat up stright in her bed breathing hard. She knew something was wrong and tears began to fall from her eyes.

Kevin lay on the ground clutching his side. The pain was making him dizzy. His thoughts drifted to his beautiful wife Kiara.
Kevin thought back to a time when he would get tongue tied around her, he remembered how hard it was for him to tell her he loved her, that he wanted to be with her.
Memories flashed through his head.
"So Kiara, for our first date wanna go to the movies?" Kevin asked her smiling brightly that he had finally gotten her to agree to a date.
"Sure, the new movie Selena just came on lets go see that."
Kevin remembered how much she had loved the movie. He remembered her tears when Dreaming of You played and Selena died. The words of the song drifted through his mind.

Kiara stood on the stage of the high school and sang into the microphone. She had chosen the song Dreaming of You by Selena.
The song touched her heart greatly. It had made her cry when she saw the movie, she had seen the movie with Kevin for their first date, and in a way it became their song. Secretly the words were able to describe how she often had felt about Kevin.
Kevin lay in the mud as his blood formed a pool around him. He knew he was dying and what hurt him the most was that he would never see her face again.

Kevin wished that just for one last time, he would be able to see her, be able to hold her in his arms and kiss her and let her know just how much he loved her. But as Kevin thought of these words, he died.

Kiara stood facing the coffin, her heart was broken and she didn't think that it could ever be fixed. The one man she loved had died. Sadness tore at her insides. She was unsure how she would survie with out him. She closed her eyes and listened as the music played.
Late at night when all the world is sleeping

And I still can't believe
That you came up to me and said "I love you"

It was finally time, it was the day of their wedding. after years of longing and fighting, a few years of dating, it was now time for Kiara and Kevin to say I do.
Kiara looked beautiful in her wedding dress. Kevin could not believe his eyes he was so lucky to have her.
Kevin gazed lovingly into her eyes as his life began again.

Kiara watched as flowers were thrown on the casket. Her body ached for him. She hadn't even been able to see him or say goodbye before he died.
Slowly she dropped the flowers on his casket and picked up his picture. She knew that no matter what she would always love him.
Kiara turned her head up to the sky and felt the suns rays kiss her cheeks and knew that some where up in heaven, Kevin was watching her.
