Hey, thanks for wanting to know about me! I'm Sandy (duh) or as Sa'iyda likes to call me, Sandy StarShine from Staten Island, NY. You may already know I am the editor of StarShine Magazine (www.starshinemag.com). I'll admit, it's a little weird for me to write fan fiction while running the magazine considering I interview some of the people I write stories about lol. Fan fic is something I got into about 4 years ago. I always loved to write anything and everything, but I had trouble writing novels. They always came out kind of lame when I'd try, so I never finished them or would rush through them to get it over with. That was until I had an idea for a novel with Nick Carter as the main character. Fan fiction has helped me so much as a writer and now I feel more comfortable writing novels which don't star famous people lol!
Anywho, Sai and Anita approached me about hosting my stories since I usually just e-mail my stories out in a zine form. I am honored they wanted my stories on Pop Fiction and that Sai considers me her fan fic idol :) Anita and Sai were both subscribed to my story zines. Sai and I used to both live in the same neighborhood, so we started talking because of that and since have been best friends!
I'm a huge BSB and Aaron Carter fan. Have been since 1997 and I don't plan to ever stop hehe:) Just so you know, while reading some of my stories, though it may seem like it's everything about my life, please know that it still is fiction and yes, there are some things that did happen to me or were said, but don't mistake everything for the truth lol. I can't promise I will always write fan fiction, but I will always write and I'm sure there will still be a hint of celeb in my characters.
