He had to tell her. There was no way he could keep it from her any longer. Sure, she was his best friend and everything but she was more than just his best friend. She was everything. She was his rock, his lifeline. The one person he could count on no matter what happened to him. Over the time they knew each other his feelings for her developed into a strong love. A love that swept over him like a wave crashing up onto the shore. He had plenty of other girls before but none of them were like her. She was so special. When he was with her, something took over him. Her presence was one that commanded attention, and he always gave it to her. With one snap of her finger, she had him in her pocket. He suddenly felt himself getting consumed in all that she was.

He wasn�t sure of how to approach the situation. He had never felt what he felt for her before. It was all new to him. What was he supposed to do? How was he supposed to tell her how he felt? Every time he was with her, he just wanted to brush that one little piece of hair that was always in her eyes away, gently stroke her cheek, anything to touch her. He wanted her, more like he needed her. She was the only girl who could truly make him happy. Any other girl he had meant nothing compared to her. He made up his mind; he had to make her his, no matter what it took. He knocked on her door.

�Hey Aaron. What�s up?� she asked

�Not much. Just figured I�d come say hey.� He said, standing nervously in the doorway

�You�re that bored? God, come on in.� she said, leading him into the house.

�I wasn�t bored. I haven�t seen you all week.� He said walking into the living room

�That�s true. Sit down. I�ll get some snacks or something.� She said walking into her kitchen.

He took a deep breath. He had to tell her, he just had to. But he was so scared of what�d she say. She just got out of a relationship and he doubted that she would want to jump into another one. Especially not with him. He knew she saw him as her best friend, more like a pal than a boyfriend. How would he convince her that they were really meant to be?

�Okay, I�m running low on snacks. May have to make a run to the supermarket later. But here�s what I got.� She said, laying some snacks on the table.

�This is fine. Trust me, I�m not really very hungry.� He said

�You feeling okay? You look a little pale.� She said, reaching to feel his head

�I�m fine. I just got something on my mind.� He replied.

�Oh? What�s going on?� she asked.

He opened his mouth to say what he needed to say, but something stopped him. He couldn�t say it.

�Nothing. It�s okay.�

�You sure kiddo? You�re acting weirder than usual.�

�Ha ha. I�m fine brat.� He said, tickling her sides.

�No!! Aaron, stop! You know I hate being tickled!� she squealed.

�Oh come on Sai you big baby!� he exclaimed tickling her more.

�Aaron Carter! You better stop right now!� she exclaimed

�Make me!� he challenged.

They just stared at each other. Aaron looked deep into Sai�s beautiful brown eyes. He felt himself getting lost inside of her. She captivated him and he couldn�t stop himself from kissing her. She hesitated at first then kissed him back fully.

�Whoa, what just happened?� she asked.

�We just kissed each other.� He replied.

�No shit doofus. But why?� she questioned

�Because you�re beautiful and I couldn�t stop myself.� He confessed.

�Umm, sure thing.� She said sounding confused.

�Sai, there�s something I need to tell you.�

�What�s up Aaron? Just tell me.�

�I love you.� He said

�I love you too. That�s what you had to tell me?� she asked.

�You don�t get it. I love you. As in, I�m in love with you.�

�No seriously. What is it?�

�Sai, I�m serious. I�m in love with you. Head over heels, but crazy, the whole nine.�

�But how? You�re my best friend.�

�Exactly. You�re my best friend. You�re the only person who truly knows me. No one else means half as much to me as you do. �

�I�m so confused.�

�Don�t be. It all makes sense. You�re the perfect person for me. You know everything about me. I know everything about you. We�re meant to be together.�

Sai shook her head. She knew everything he said was right but she was so scared to jump into another relationship. She had gotten hurt so badly by her ex that she never wanted to date another guy as long as she lived. She knew she could trust Aaron but a part of her was still scared.

�How do I know that you won�t hurt me the way Justin did?� she asked.

�Sai, I would never hurt you intentionally. I could never live with knowing that I hurt you.� He replied, kissing her forehead.

She sighed. �Aaron, you have to promise me.� She said.

�Anything.�

�Promise me that you won�t hurt me like he did.�

�I promise baby.�

�Kiss me.� She ordered.

�Gladly.� He said kissing her. It was a long, sweet, passionate kiss.

She snuggled into him as he held her. Maybe things would go right this time. Aaron would never hurt me the way that asshole did. She thought. He smiled as he looked down on her. She was an angel and now she was all his. Life couldn�t get much better than that.

�So, I guess this means that we�re dating.� She said smiling to herself.

�Yeah I guess it does. That okay with you?� he questioned

�I can learn to deal with it.� She joked.

�Good, because you�re not getting rid of me that easily.� He replied

�I don�t ever want to get rid of you. I love you Aaron Carter.� She said

�And I love you too.�

She grabbed the remote to the stereo and turned on a cd. The first song was one of their favorites. Aaron smiled.

�I love this song.�

�Yeah, I know. Me too.� She replied.
