Samantha Porter walked carefully through the crowded club. She had lost her friend Gabby and it was hell trying to find her. It seemed like every jerk was out that night. The cat calls were endless as guys noticed her. Samantha was average height and weight with long red hair and skin the color of cream. She had blue eyes that had a spark to them and freckles only across her nose. After what felt like forever, she found Gabby. She seemed to be talking to not one but two guys.
"Sam! There you are! I was looking all over for you!" Gabby exclaimed
"Sure you were Gabby. It's okay." Samantha replied
"Well, I found you. Guys, this is my best friend Samantha Porter. Sam, this is JC Chasez and Justin Timberlake." Gabby introduced
"Hi." Samantha said
"Hey." both guys replied
Samantha looked at the two guys. Gabby had definitely done a good job. JC was very attractive in a strong, chiseled way. Justin on the other hand, was just hot. His blue eyes were similar to hers in color but had this unreadable expression. His face was young looking and playful but something about him commanded attention. Justin studied Samantha with the same careful scrutiny. She looked like a china doll except for the sharpness in her eyes. Her tank top was tight enough to show off the right parts of her body, exposing a strip of skin below her navel. The low-rise jeans she wore hugged her hips in the right way without looking too tight. She was beautiful.
"Samantha, would you like a drink?" Justin asked
"An apple martini would be great." she said
"Coming right up." he said
"And what will you be having Gabby?" JC asked
"A cosmopolitan please." she replied
The guys walked over to the bar. There was a long line so the girls knew they had some time.
"Good job Gab." Samantha said
"Thank you, thank you. I try." Gabby replied
"How did you manage to get us Nsync guys?" Samantha asked
"That's who they are? I knew they looked familiar but I couldn't place them." Gabby said
"Gabriella, you have issues." Samantha said
"Whatever Samantha." Gabby teased
A few minutes later, the guys returned with their drinks. Samantha sipped her martini.
"Wow, this is strong." she said
"Yeah, I noticed that too." Justin agreed, sipping his drink
The finished their drinks before heading out to the dance floor.
"So Samantha, how old are you?" Justin asked
"I'm twenty-two." she replied
"Cool. What do you do?" he questioned
"I"m a dance teacher and I just graduated college with a BFA in dance." she replied
"Wow, that's awesome. How long have you been dancing?" he asked
"Since was two." she said
"Since you were two? That's cool." he said
"Yeah I guess." she said
He put his hands on her hips and began grinding with her. She put her arms around his neck and let the music move their bodies. Samantha was having a good time. She hadn't gotten the chance to just go out and have a good time in a long time. After dancing for awhile, the four decided to head to a local dincer for a snack. JC and Gabby went in his car while Justin and Samantha took her Escalade.
"I just realized your car is baby blue." Justin said
"That's been my favorite color since I was in the seventh grade." she said
"That's my favorite color too." he said
"I know." she said
"You do?" he asked
"Uh huh. I mean, you are Justin Timberlake. Who doesn't know that?" she replied
"True. You're a fan?" he asked
"Yeah I am." she said
"Cool." he said smiling
"Yeah." she said, smiling back
They beat the other two to the diner and waited in the parking lot. They used the opportunity to get to know each other. Shortly, JC and Gabby pulled up.
"Sorry we're late. JC took a wrong turn." Gabby said
Samantha raised an eyebrow at Gabby. She looked a bit disheveled and so did JC. She was almost sure that JC didn't take a wrong turn but didn't say anything. The four went into the diner and sat at a booth girls on one side, boys on the other.
"So, what are you guys doing here in Boston?" Samantha asked
"Vacation. It's really nice up here." JC said
"Yeah. I don't know if I wanna go home." Justin agreed
"Boston has that affect on people." Gabby said
"What are you guys going to order?" Justin asked
"Waffles with whipped cream and strawberries. Yum." Samantha said
"I'm gonna have cheesecake. Their's is the best in the area." Gabby said
"What about their pancakes?" JC asked
"Awesome." Samantha replied
"I was thinking of french toast." Justin said
"Even better." Samantha said
"Sam loves breakfast food. She could eat it all day long if you let her." Gabby said
"Yup yup." Samantha agreed
"That's cool. I love breakfast food too." Justin said
Samantha smiled. Who knew that she would have stuff in common with Justin Timberlake? She knew that they shared a favorite color, but how many people loved breakfast food as much as she did?
"If you say your favorite show is Sex and the City I'm moving to Guam." Gabby said
"Why?" Justin asked
"No reason." Samantha said, shooting Gabby a look.
"So Samantha, Gabby tells me that you're a dance teacher." JC said
"I am. I teach babies and teenagers." Samantha replied
"Wow, that's a stretch." Justin said
"Yeah, but it's a lot of fun. The little ones are so cute and they idolize me and the older ones are fun and they look at me as a friend so it makes class and teaching fun." she replied
"That makes sense." Justin said
The waiter came over and took their order. While they waited they made small talk. Samantha learned that her and Justin had more things in common. She thought it was weird and wanted to talk to Gabby about it.
"I'm going to head to the restroom before the food comes." she said
"That sounds like a good idea." Gabby agreed
The girls got up and walked into the bathroom.
"What's wrong Sam? Aren't you having fun?" Gabby asked
"I am! Of course. But I'm freaking out here." Samantha said
"Why? Haven't you always wanted to have all this stuff in common with Justin? Didn't you always say he was your soul mate dream guy?" Gabby asked
"Damnit Gabby, why do you always do that?" Samantha asked, frustrated
"Do what?" Gabby asked
"Be right." Samantha replied
"It's a gift really. Now stop whining and let's go." Gabby said
Meanwhile at the table, the guys were having their own conversation. It seems that Justin was just as freaked as Samantha.
"Jace man, what am I going to do?" Justin asked
"Man, just go with the flow. It seems that you and Samantha have some sort of connection. Just see what happens." JC said
"Yeah, you're right. I know that I just met her but I like her a lot." Justin said
"Its normal." JC replied
"Well then I'm lucky." Justin replied
The girls came back to the table just as the food arrived.
"Perfect timing." Samantha said
Justin smiled and they all dug into their food. Samantha watched him carefully. She moved in her seat and her leg brushed against Justin's accidentally. He looked at her and smiled. She smiled back, her cheeks turning a deep shade of crimson. They continued to eat silently. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their food too much to talk. Soon enough, they all took a break from eating.
"So, what do you guys think?" Gabby asked
"You guys were right. This food is so good." JC said
"Definitely. I've never had such good french toast." Justin agreed
"Glad we could be of service." Samantha said
"We have found out new favorite place to eat in Boston." Justin said
"Yay! That means you'll be back to visit often." Samantha said
"Why is that?" JC asked
"Because once you eat here, you can't stay away long." Gabby replied
"Oh. Well then I guess we'll be back often." Justin said
"Good." Samantha agreed
JC and Gabby looked at each other bfore looking at Justin and Samantha. They laughed to themselves. It was so obvious to them that thier friends liked each other. They made it their mission to get the two to admit it before the night was over.
Justin looked at Samantha. She was so beautiful. But along with her beauty, she was such a sweet person. She wasn't naive, but she had a quality to her her that would make someone think she was. She was also very smart. Talking to her made him feel he could learn so much from her. He just wanted to get closer.
Samantha noticed Justin looking at her. He was so cute. She could really feel herself connceting to him. It was obvious that he had seen so much and knew so much about the world. She wanted him to share what he knew with her. Anything to get closer to him.
Soon, everyone had finished their food. They paid the check and walked back to the parking lot. They stood in front of the cars, trying to figure out a plan.
"Do you guys want to come back to our place?" Gabby suggested
"Sounds like fun." JC agreed
"Well, I'll drivve and JC you can either follow or Gabby will give you directions." Samantha said
"Okay cool." JC said
Smantha and Justin got back into her car while JC and Gabby got into his car. They drove to the apartment and went upstairs.
"Please excuse the mess. We didn't think we'd be having company tonight." Samantha said
"No problem." Justin said
Gabby looked at them and then at JC.
"Hey JC, let's go into my room." Gabby suggested
JC looked at her strangely before he caught on.
"Oh! Okay, sure." he agreed
They walked into her room, leaving Justin and Samantha alone. Samantha sat on the couch and motioned for Justin to sit next to her. He sat and they smiled at each other.
"This is a nice place." he said
"Thank you very much." she said
They sat, not knowing what to say next. Justin oved closer and placed his hand on hers. She jumped a little since he startled her but she settled and smiled.
"Did you have fun today?" she asked
"Yeah. I'm glad we decided to go out tonight." he replied
"Yeah me too. I'm glad we met." she said
"So am I. You're a really great person." he said
"You are too." she replied
"You know Sam, I really want to get to know you better." he said
"Yes, that would be nice Justin." she agreed
"I really like you Sam." he said
"I really like you too Justin." she replied
He smiled and leaned in. His lips brushed hers gently. She was surprised and looked at him as he sat back.
"Justin, did you just kiss me?" she asked
"I'm sorry, I couldn't resist." he apologized
"It's okay. I was kind of hoping you would." she said
"Really, he asked
"Yeah." she said
She leaned in and kissed him this time. The kiss was long and sweet. They pulled back and smiled.
"Will you go out with me tomorrow night." he asked
"I would love to." she replied
He kissed her again. This time JC and Gabby watched from her doorway. They hugged.
"Who knew I'd find someone over my love for dancing and breakfast?" Samantha asked
"Beats me." Justin said
JC and Gabby laughed. Mission accomplished.
