| Prussia: King Frederick-Wilhelm III Military: Army Max: 300,000 Standing Army at 1791: Infantry: 100,000 Quality------------7/10 Cavalry: 25,000 Quality------------10/10 Cannon: 148 Cannon of Various calibers Quality: 6/10 Overall Quality: 7/10 Despite their fearsome reputation, the Prussian army is not what it used to be during the Seven Years War. It depends on mercenaries and untested foreign troops to fill the ranks of its armies and the generals still follow the tactics of past wars. The overall leadership of the Prussian army is much like Austrias, outdated and a shadow of its former self. However, the one thing the Prussians have going for them is passion and devotion. Despite numerous defeats at the hands of the French, the Prussians continued to slowly build up and reform their army from 1806-1812 to beat the French, and they did at Waterloo. Navy: 5/10 No colonies made the need for a Prussian navy next to nothing. The ships it does have are outdated relics or are to small to be of use against a ship-of-the-line. Economy: 8/10 |
