About Pop Stone Construction

Named after his grandfather’s prized boulder, Nick Brown formed the company to build a few carefully crafted homes on what was his family land.

Nick’s houses reflect the love of wood and attention to detail that brought him success as a furniture maker.

Among Nick’s many commissions are the bookcases at the FDR Library, the nine spindle chairs for the NY Court of Appeals, and the Coucilman’s Desk in Kingston’s City Hall.

The hand built cabinets, moldings, floors and staircases found in the houses he builds showcase Nick’s talents with woodworking.

Building houses in a new passion of Nick’s to which he brings a higher standard of quality and old fashioned workmanship.

In every aspect of construction, Nick puts his special stamp of care and upgrades to meet his idea of how a house should be built.
