He can identify the owner of the hand right when the fingers slide through. Solid and sweaty. Doesn't need to look; knows it better than his own. Knows JC. Loves how their fingers always seem to fit.

JC is the first person to kiss him after The Breakup. Sharp and sweet and feels like an eternity.
Then JC mumbles and stutters an apology because that's his thing and Justin just nods and nods because that's his thing. When JC's hand slips from his, it feels something like breaking up.

JC turns up for London, after much avoiding. Justin stands, arms folded, waiting.
"Was giving you time."
And Justin laughs, because, yes. Clearly. And he'd needed it. Hadn't hooked up with nearly as many people as rumors claimed. He was healing. And waiting.
JC pulls him forward, kisses him thoroughly. When walking to the stage, his hand is tugged.
"Break a leg."
Heading off with a smile brighter than the stage lights, he doesn't look back.
